Actually, I rate this CD ten stars!!! (I don't have the CD, but I think the music from the "1776" musical is stirring, wonderful, and it's a musical you should rent and watch if you haven't already.) This cd is one of the best musicals you will ever find anyone can find something to enjoy in this collection of songs. Brent Spiner is fantastic as John Adams and Gregg Edelman delivers a performance that will send chills up your spine. Having seen the original Broadway musical many years ago, all I can say is, it is a shame there wasn't a VHS/DVD made of the revival so those not lucky enough to see the play could enjoy the entire production. I collect showtunes and I have to say that this is one of the greatest soundtrscks ever. I t contains every major emotion. You willbe humming or singing these songs forever. BRENT SPINER IS WONDERFUL!
