Free Music Review: Pop Music at it's Peak!
Hit: 5 Stars

...but goes down hill from here. Now we have to put up with Manufactured groups who get polished up produced and release hit singles and the girls go crazy...Not the case here! This is perhaps the most incredible collection of Pop music, definatly letting a person from every music genre to enjoy. Tracy Chapman crunk's up the Album with her Smash folk-type Hit "Give Me One Reason", followed by Eric Clapton's song from the movie Phenomenon "Change The World" (Both of these are probably one of the best two songs on the album!). Celine Dion returns in this album with her hit smash "Because You Loved Me" from the movie "Up Close & Personal" along with Alanis Morsette's career Jumpstart smash single "Ironic" which has to be a signature lyric of her's. Smashing Pumpkins return as well with their Hit "1979" including both fast and slow beats. The Band's name of Garbage definatly doesn't reflect their music...for "Stupid Girl" is a Great mix of Pop and Alterna Rock, and another great song Lyric-wise. Jewel debuts with her hit single "Who Will Save Your Soul" (which is the radio version not available on her album "Pieces of You"). She gives us a hint of slow-ish Folk Rock, before then new group No Doubt's hit Ska-inspired "Spiderwebs." Three ballads success the No Doubt single, including Toni Rich's "Nobody Knows" which is just great lyric-wise along with newcomer teen super country singer LeAnn Rhymes and her single "My Baby" (Which I don't like as much as "How Do I Live which Is what they should've included), followed by Toni Braxton's powerful heartaching ballad "Un-Break My Heart" where she is at her best...From her Sophomore album 'Secrets' and written by fammed songwriter Dianne Warren. Shawn Colvin appears on this album with her single "Get Out of This House" but not as good as her Hit single "Sunny Came Home" released only a year later. After a serious back injury almost threatening her life, Latina Superstar Gloria Estifan returns to us with her Olympic Theme song earlier that year "Reach", providing an optimistic message for us all. So overall, despite two or three songs I wish they would've put other ones in their places this album is Great! The lyrics are very meaning ful and Pop music is at it's best here. It seems to go down hill after 2 years from this with introductions of Britney Spears and N Sync as well as others. A True Masterpiece, and a must have for any music fan!!
