Free Music Notes for 2Pac - Greatest Hits

Free Music Review: greatest "Greatest Hits"
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is just a classic. Most of pac's best songs of all time are on this album. My personal favorites would be Hail Mary & How Do U Want It. I think that this cd could easily of been a 3 or 4 disc set. Pac was just an incredible rapper. Not much else to say but u gotta cop this one. Overall I give this album 5 bricketts.

Free Music Review: Who the hell made this?
Hit: 3 Stars

Okay people this is the second worst greatest hits i've ever seen. The worst is Snoop's but that's a different story. Let's Get something straight Greatest Hits should only be the songs that have singles and videos etc. no matter how bad they may be. Make a Best Of and you can go wild put Greatest Hits JUST STICK TO THE FAMOUS ONES YOU CLOWNS. It's that simple. This is missing some of Pac's early hits which are are If My Homie Calls, Holler If Ya Hear Me, Papa'z Song, Pour Out A Little Liquor and Cradle To The Grave DOES ANYONE ON THIS SITE REALIZE THAT? In the place of those are songs which are great but not hits and therefore should not be on this album. Those songs are Me Against The World, Life Goes On, Picture Me Rollin, How Long Will They Mourn Me?, Heartz Of Men all of those are good but they should not be here.

They could have made a Best Of CD instead and added all the great non famous songs like If I Die Tonight, Pain, All Eyez On Me, Me And My Girlfriend, Soulja's Story, Only God Can Judge Me, Staring Through My Rearview, Young N*****, Against All Odds, Ambitionz Az A Ridah, The Streetz R Deathrow, Made N*****, Skandalouz, White Man'z World, Str8 Ballin just to name a few and it would be better but they decided to make a Greatest Hits and they screwed it up.

Anyway I recommend you do buy this seeing all the songs are great the only thing I don't like is the production. Below are my ratings for the songs.
1. Keep Ya Head Up 10/10 classic
2. 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted 10/10 can't really go wrong putting 2 of the best gangsta rappers of all time on the same song
3. Temptations 10/10 Even though it is a pretty weak song I have always been a fan of this one
4. God Bless The Dead 10/10 Good unreleased track
5. Hail Mary 10/10 favourite song from the don killuminati
6. Me Against The World 10/10 This song is not famous and should not have been included but I like it still
7. How Do U Want It 9/10 Never been a huge fan of this one
8. So Many Tears 10/10 I'm a big fan of this one
9. Unconditional Love 10/10 this is another great unreleased track
10. Trapped 10/10 My favourite song from 2pacalypse Now
11. Life Goes On 9/10 Another non famous track that should not be here not bad though
12. Hit Em Up 9/10 I like this song but it has too much unnessasary bad language

1. Troublesome 96' 10/10 Another great unreleased track
2. Brenda's Got A Baby 10/10 Another great song from 2pacalypse Now
3. I Ain't Mad At Cha 10/10 Big fan of this one
4. I Get Around 10/10 people say this song is overrated but i like it
5. Changes 10/10 probably the most famous unreleased song on the collection
6. California Love 10/10 absolute classic if you don't like this song you don't like rap
7. Picture Me Rollin 10/10 another one that should not be here but i'm a big fan of this one
8. How Long Will They Mourn Me? 10/10 This has no business being here either but i'm also a big fan of this one
9. Toss It Up 9/10 Not Bad
10. Dear Mama 10/10 Classic
11. All About U 5/10 Never Liked this song least favourite
12. To Live & Die In L.A. 10/10 Another great song from the don killuminati
13. Heartz Of Men 10/10 should not be here either but i'm a fan of this one also

Free Music Review: An Excellent Collection of 2Pac's Music
Hit: 5 Stars

Before I listened to this album I had heard very little of 2Pac. I had been avoiding rap as much as a could for a long time, but one day I caved in and started listening to rap willingly. I decided I liked it (imagine that) and wanted to find some good rappers to listen to. Obviously, 2Pac came to mind so I thought would take a chance on this 2 CD collection, and I am very glad I did!

This collection is an excellent introduction to 2Pac if you're new to him and rap in general. Tracks like "Keep Ya Head Up," "Brenda's Got a Baby," "Changes," and "Dear Mama" break the negative stereotypes often associated with rap (unnecessary violence, objectifying women, etc.) and help newcomers accept and enjoy the genre. This collection also contains the notoriously heartless diss to his former friend Biggie Smalls entitled "Hit Em Up." There are even some great tracks to simply nod your head to while driving, such as "I Get Around," "California Love," and "All About You."

After listening to some of 2Pac's other cds, I do feel there are some essential songs missing from this Greatest Hits collection, but overall there are a lot of great tracks on here and is a great introduction to anyone new to 2Pac or rap as a whole. However, anyone that has many of 2Pac's earlier cds could probably pass this one up.

Free Music Review: 2Pac's greatest hits
Hit: 5 Stars

O.K i've already written a review of this album under my usual user name but I felt compelled to add some points to some reviewers on here. Firstly this is a classic, you can't really go wrong when you take Pac's greatest hits and put them all on 1 cd, no doubt there are songs missing that I would like to have seen on here, and some I would not have included, but when all is said and done, I listen to all 25 tracks on here, there is no filler so it has to be 5 stars.

Secondly I agree with the inclusion of Hit Em Up, now I know many don't but this track is so famous yet it was unavailable on any of his other albums, therefore it makes sense to include it as most will not already own it. It is not Pac's greatest track but I think you have to add previously unreleased (or in this case never on any of his albums) tracks to make it a worthwile purchase for fans who already own all his albums. The main reason i'm writing this though is to explain the also unreleased track God Bless The Dead. I've seen reviewers call it an "Anti Bad Boy Song", or use it to say he must still be alive as he's eulogising Biggie, frankly peoples lack of knowledge on this is amazing, especially as they consider themselves Tupac fans. God Bless The Dead was recorded around 1994 with Stretch from Live Squad, BEFORE he had beef with the Notorious BIG. Don't forget he also blamed Stretch as well as BIG for his first shooting, and Stretch was killed in 95, so this cannot have been recorded after Biggie's death or on Death Row. This song is a reference to a personal friend of Pac & Stretch who went under the nickname "Biggie Smalls", who was killed before any of the Death Row, Bad Boy beef. I believe he was either a dj or rapper that was connected to Live Squad, and he was also known to Notorious BIG, I have also heard people suggest that the Notorious BIG adopted the name Biggie Smalls in honour of their late friend, though I don't know if this is true. Does everyone now understand that God Bless The Dead is

a) Not a diss track
b) Nothing to do with Notorious BIG
c) Recorded in 1994 prior to his beef with BIG & Stretch and of course before Stretch was killed
d) The track was probably put on the album so people would go how can he eulogise BIG when he was killed before him

If anyone writes anything negative about this track again I will scream, that is all I have to say.
