Free Music Notes for R U Still Down? (Remember Me)Free Music Review: His best after-death album Hit: 4 StarsMaybe I don't listen to the others enough, but this album is my favorite/the best album released after tupac's death (not including Makaveli because that had new material he recorded just for that CD). I listen to Disc 2 a lot more, Fake Ass B****** and Do For Love are two of my favorite Tupac songs.. FAB is just funny and it's a great diss on fake people.. which I'm sure everyone can relate to. I always laugh at the end when he describes a fake person listening to the song. Do For Love is a nice slower song.. if you like R&B you'd like this song. It has one of the guys from Blackstreet singing the chorus. I also like the hip hop version of I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto much better.. plus I think most people would recognize the lyrics from this song because they were later used/recycled in the popular song Changes.. if you liked that song.. that song is average compared to this one.. they did a much better job mixing this song and did poorly with changes, but I guess that's my opinion..so give it a listen and see for yourself. If you pick up any of Tupac's later CDs this should be one of the first.
Free Music Review: MaKaVeLi Da DoN 4 LiFe Hit: 4 StarsThis album is definetely 2pac's worst album after his death besides the albums that eminem produced for pac and nu mixx klassics (But its still a good album). The first disc has good songs like "Open Fire", "R U still down", "I wonder if heaven got a ghetto", F*** all y'all, and "let them thangs go". The second disc has good songs like "Ready 4 whatever", Fake A** B******, "do for love", "16 on death row", " I wonder if heaven got a ghetto (Hip Hop Version), "When I get free 2",and the best song on the album "Only fear of death".The album has some dissapointing productions but when pac starts it dont matter. His voice for me can be basically played over anything. Some other great albums are "Me against the world", "All eyez on me", and "Greatist hits". I've heard of the new album that came out internationally called "Ready 2 die" Jan 31. But united states didnt get it, cant wait til it comes.
ALL I GOTTA SAY IS MAKAVELI IS THE BEST FOR EVER
R.I.P.
Free Music Review: R U Still Listening? (Forget This) Hit: 2 StarsWhile 2pac's lyrics shine through the songs, over half of the songs are overly repeditive both with the beats (which are simple and sound the same), a voice you hear on songs and interludes which makes it sound like someone was inhaling a little too much laughing gas, and lyrics which are filled with "Bury me a G!" and "Thug Life Baby!"
With stand out tracks "Nothing To Lose (Disk one)" and "I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto (Hip-Hop version -- disk two)," it is still a nice CD, but I would recommend Better Dayz. The production is different which makes all the tracks stand out in thier own way and you will never put it down.
Free Music Review: The second best 2pac album Hit: 5 Starsthere are two 2pac album who rock:
"all eyez on me"
and... "r u still down? (remeber me)"
this album is super great.
each song has it own image he own...topic which means,
tupac had heart for everything. he was a really great person.
i am an artist on my starting way and i'm from israel so i learn
and get ideas for songs from pac. he rocks everything.
i love this album in peticular b-cus of the songs, they still talks for real. so buy this as fast as you can, if you like tupac.
Free Music Review: poetry Hit: 5 StarsIf any one ever asks you what poetry means tell them to buy this album. all the songs are tight, even though pac wrote songs within 5mins and the beats he went over were not great just goes to show what talent he had. Clasic songs are nuttin to loose, open fire, and only fear is death...go buy it
