Free Music Notes for R U Still Down? (Remember Me)

Free Music Review: A tight album that only real rap fans can understand.
Hit: 5 Stars

What you hear on the radio today isn't rap; it's pop. Stupid junk that people throw together and put a bad beat on so 14-year-old girls can jump around and sing along with their "i'm so cool i have liquor" attitude and much-too-much-make-up! Now, R U still down is a TIIIGHT CD that really shows old-school rap. Although made in 97, it brings out some old-school flavour. Listen to the CD during the day. Nothing, you don't feel it. Listen to it on a starry or stormy night driving home by youself and the CD automatically has new meaning and you feel Pac's meaning, you relate to the music. I 100% recommend this, and wish people would buy awsome CDs like this one as apposed to blasting crap they hear on rap radio stations with ebonic accents so stupid you can't understand them talk about the weather. Old rap 4 ever! This CD has turned my rap-hating-friends into rap fans of Tupac!! 100% recommended!!

Free Music Review: Another Great CD
Hit: 5 Stars

R U still down contains 2 discs..There are too many good songs to list here Hellrazor, R U still down?, I wonder If heaven got a ghetto? Those are all from disc one only disc 2 is loaded as well..A lot of people have shown this album no love and I can't understand why, they are only Radio-Fans of tupac and that makes me mad. Once again if you have at least 2 cds from tupac and are starving 4 more of his music y not make R U Still down the third cd of your 2pac collection?

Free Music Review: not........bad
Hit: 4 Stars

First of all ive got to say that cd1 is'nt better than cd2.But overall this album is not that bad,not the best 2pac album of course for several reasons. It was released in 1997 but the songs are from 1994,some of the songs lacked what id expect of him.I liked do 4 luv and hellrazor, when i get free2,hold on and some others. But this album has some really good beats and tunes, get it but dont be to disa pointed about some of it.

Free Music Review: 2pac's Best Double Disc Set!!!
Hit: 4 Stars

I don't like All Eyez On Me that much. The first disc was great, but the second was awful. RUStillDown is just like All Eyez On Me, the first disc is pure Pac great lyrics, an occasionaly gangsta beat, except, unlike AEOM on RUSD's second disc has one 2pac's best songs:

1.Redemption: For some strange reason I just love this intro especially the "I'm the king" and "Y'all can't kill me"looping in the background. 4/5
2.Open Fire: Gotta love the beat, nice lyrics. 4/5
3.R U Still Down? Remember Me? Sounds almost like Open Fire. The beat is almost like that beat. Of course 2pac's lyrics mix well.4/5
4.Hell Razor: Spectacular song. The beat is average but the same can't be said for Pac. He spits those lyrics with intensity he has to catch his breath at the end of the song. 5/5
5.Thug Style: This song may slip under many people's radar. But the lyrics are as sharp as ever. If you have the system at your house play this loud. It will people in the street bucked up. Oh yeah I got a kick out of 2pac cursing hisself out.
6.Where Do We Go From Here: Just an interlude, and a long one at that, with 2pac's voice [...] (his voice is in slow motion) that serves no purpose but just to fill out some of the time. 1/5
7.I Wonder If Heaven Gotta A Ghetto: Song everybody has grown to love. I just the like the second verse because they used the same lyrics in "Changes".3/5
8.Nothing To Lose: This song grew on me. This is vintage 2pac.4/5
9.I'm Gettin Money: 2pac starts off on fire, then simmers down a bit. One of his "i'm gettin money any way I can" song.3/5
10.Lie To Kick It: Filler, with every sense of the word. Decent song at best and one of the rare times Pac's lyrics doesn't save a song. 1/5
11.Fuck All Y'all: Don't let the title fool you. This is not one of 2pac's beef songs. One of his best beats on this disc.
12.Let Them Thangs Go: Average Average. 2/5
13.Definition Of A Thug Nigga: An alright song. This is also one of three 2pac's songs with Richard Pryor as the hook.(Better Dayz, Late Night)(All Eyez On Me, Heartz Of Men).3/5

Let's just skip the second disc because most of the songs are anywhere between decent and horrendous except for 2:
6. Do For Love: Sad song when you think about it. It shows 2pac's troubles with women under the guise of him just getting on with his life. With a very innovative, and likable beat and you gotta love the hook.4/5
13.Only Fear Of Death: The absolute best song on the 2 Disc Set.
2pac's lyrics, these are some of his best. Think of "So Many Tears" just darker. The beat, think of Nas's(the second best rapper of all-time)"Hate Me Know" beat just tons more darker then you'll get the idea. This boasts some of the saddest lyrics from Pac: "I put the pistol to my head/I say a prayer, I see visions of me dead/Lord are you there. They tell me I'm lost cause I'm lonely/I thought I had friends but in the end a [...] dies lonely. Words like that get's the listener right into 2pac's tortured soul.5/5

All-N-All 2pac's best double disc disc.

Free Music Review: Guys night our or workout CD.
Hit: 5 Stars

I noticed some of the reviews for this double CD are a little less favorabe. Although I agree it dosent contain the classics like California Love or How Do You Want It, but if what you are looking for workout music, dollar for dollar this CD is the best. You can load this full double cd on your mp3 player and take it to the gym without fluff. This CD may contain less clever home run hooks but it is strong, steady pumping through out.

This CD is not the reason all the teenage girls have 2Pac posters up in their beedroom, this is 2Pac's guys night out cd.

This is a 5 star CD for the gym, no light weight tunes to skip over on this CD.
