Free Music Review: 2Pac, officially the #1 best selling rapper of all time
Hit: 5 Stars

From his latest movie, Resurrection, the soundtrack brings out some of the best beats 2Pac ever came up with. As all of you know, it contains previously unreleased material which were all produced by Eminem. Eminem is a dope producer and I'm pretty impressed with the way he produced 2Pac's music (usually when he produces for other rappers, it always has to sound like Eminem's beat. eg. "Red Cross" by Nas and "My Name" by Xzibit). However, the beats sound a bit different from Eminem's usual beats. The unreleased songs are good but nothing much to look forward to. I honestly thought 2Pac would have written some dope lyrics for these songs but they're pretting lacking. "Ghost" has a cool tune and a feel to it but 2Pac's lyrics sound as if Nelly wrote them. "One Day at a Time" is a cool track with fast drumming in the background with one of my favorite west coast groups, the Outlawz, and Eminem. 2Pac's lyrics are far better here and talks mainly about the black people. There was confusion as to whether Eminem was speaking for the black people or for his people. As you listen to "One Day at a Time", 2Pac often says the word "US", meaning the black people. You'd find, too, that Eminem says "US" quite often, which was creating anger towards Eminem as some officials believe he speaks of the black people. "Runnin" is the track you will DEFINATELY love. You could describe this song as the rebirth of the REAL RAP. 2Pac and Biggie Smalls is, by far, the most dopest collaboration in rap history (even better than Snoop and Dre). As their lyrics lack a little, the beat is just incredible. However, the original version is by far better as it features a whole lot of other rappers (Stretch, Kadafi etc.) "The Realist Killaz" is the track I dislike a little, however. 50 "Loose Change" Cent is whack, how in the f*ck did he get permission to colloborate with 2Pac? He, of all fake ass thugs, should know that 2Pac would never colloborate with a fake ass thug as 2Pac hated them. 2Pac's lyrics were taken from another song he colloborated with Daz Dillinger on the song "Let's Fight" from the E.P., Don't Go 2 Sleep, which was a dope E.P. from Makaveli and Dillinger. The beat is the only thing to look forward to, as well as 2Pac's verse, however the song gets worse after 2Pac's verse. "Till Makaveli returns, it's all eyes on me/and you can either love it or hate it but that's the way it's gonna be", the chorus for the song, sung by 50 "Loose Change" Cent. Last time I checked his album reviews, it was full of hataz. 50 Cent is a whack rapper, he's a stupid newbie who doesn't know the meaning of rap. All eyes are not on him, there are probably more eyes on Ludacris and he's a fake thug too. 50 needs to learn there a WAY better rappers than him that's out there. eg. Snoop, Dre, Cube, Scarface, Nas, Bone Thugs, Mos Def etc.

The album also contains 2 cuts: "Same Song", which was a colloboration with one of 2Pac's earlier groups, Digital Underground, and "Panther Power", featuring a mysterious "Mike". Same Song has a funky feeling to it and I love it to bits. Panther Power is the song I enjoy most, though. He talks politically here and stands up for this rights.

Overall, this soundtrack is dope. I just hope that's the last time that whack rapper is EVER going to colloborate with 2Pac. Him and 2Pac just don't mix. What some people need to learn is that 2Pac will always be the #1 best selling rapper of all time. As a matter of fact, he was voted the best rapper out of ALL singers in the world, ranking at 32, which in my opinion, is a pretty DAMN good placing for a rapper. 2Pac was the only rapper to be placed. Please people, keep the legacy alive and buy this. All eyez definately deserve to be set on the King. May he rest in peace.
