Free Music Review: My Intro to 3 Doors Down...thanks to another friend

Yet again my music horizons have been expanded by my friend who made a copy of this album for me and said I would like it. And again he was right! I listened to this album once and immediately fell in love with the group. 3 Doors Down remind me of The Calling yet and this is a plus for 3DD and that is they have more of a heavy uplifting beat. The sounds of the songs are tremendous taking you from slow often melodic beats to nu rock more heavier beats. Whatever your take on this great group of young artists don't look past some magnificient songs like 'When I'm Gone', 'Road I'm On', 'Changes' and my favourite 'Here Without You.'Free Music Review: WOW!

I heard Away From the Sun on the radio and I got chills. So I bought the album. It is the best album I have ever listened to. Because of this album, 3 Doors Down in my fav band. I hate this band. Three Dumbasses Down is basicly another made-for-radio band without ANY orginality. The lyrics, guitars, bass, drums, and vocals all suck. For good mainstream music listen to Audioslave, Soundgarden, Korn, Godsmack, System Of A Down, etc., etc. And for good msic in general, listen to Manowar, Kreator, Lacuna Coil, The Haunted, Meshuggah, etc.Free Music Review: Entertaining...

People buy and listen to rock albums for various reasons; lyrics, melody, what have you.
Admittedly, Away From The Sun falls a little short of the quality of The Better Life. Looking at previous reviews, I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion. These two albums are ones I could play back to back and be more than satisfied with the contents of each album. I look forward to their third endeavor. I am sure the third album will hold as much meaning as the previous two.
So, if you enjoy a solid sound with plenty of underlying meaning? Pick up this album and its predecessor, you won't be disappointed.

This cd is by far one of the worst cd ever recorded. This cd shows what is wrong in the world of rock music, bad lyrics and repetitive song formulas. This cd and band is the epitome of trash.
