I've been playing this CD nearly every day since April 8th. My co-workers are now asking me to play it instead of rolling their eyes and moaning 'not again'. No one's tiring of it. TOFOG does a great job with 'Folsom Prison Blues' and I'm usually not much on remakes of famous songs. They've rerecorded some of their older stuff too and the guys have never sounded better. If you like good rock music and have an open mind this is a great album. Please don't call this a vanity album. It is much too good for that mistake.Free Music Review: Other Ways of Speaking

This is the first CD of TOFOG/Russell Crowe I have listened to. What a surprise! I loved it from the beginning. I have to say his vocals are not meant for every octave but then who has that range?? The musicians lift each song and even if the vocals(lead by Crowe) aren't always the best, the music is awesome!! It makes great traveling music on a sunny day with your sunroof wide open! I am buying the rest of their work and hope it as good as OWOS. That song is worth the entire CD price. Buy it.Free Music Review: TOFOG is a real, original group! 5 Stars!

OWOS is the best TOFOG album thus far! I have BLOC, Gaslight, Hollywood Mix (with The Photograph Kills...good song!) and the Inside her eye/Barry Kable single. Yes, Russell Crowe is the lead singer, but guys...give it a listen. You'll understand why women love him, for more than his looks (although they do help). He is talented and so is his band. Just give it a listen, really listen, and I think you'll be impressed by the originality of the music. TOFOG Rocks!!!!!Free Music Review: Expected better and got much more

I expected that the quality of OWOS would be better than BLOC, but in truth, it was so much better than I expected. If you remember riding down the road tapping your fingers along to your new 8-track of Simon and Garfunkel (and if that doesn't "date" me, nothing will) ... this is a CD for you. A fresh feel to the words and the music puts itself together into a great package.If you love rock and roll with words you can understand and learn, buy this CD.

These are wonderfully written songs, that crowe sings with passion. The ballads seem very heartfelt, and the Rockers such as "What's her name" and the live version of "Folsom Prison Blues" CRANK....Loved the duet with Chrissy Hynde, "Never be alone again", their voices blend together gently but with urgency. The horns, violins and Harmonica are an added bonus to the arrangements...Thank you Mr. Crowe, Stewart,the two Daves, Garth and Dean, You guys Rock....A++++++
