Why do people hate metalcore i don't get it it's heavy,brutal,death metal influences,and it's more heavy than some other metal genre's out there.And you might call it hardcore but i call it metal if you want hardcore listen to those boring metal wannabe's hatebreed,terror,bury your dead,and other bands like those.And as for 36 crazyfists they are between metalcore,post hardcore,and alternative metal.But on this album it sounds more like post hardcore than metalcore the screams are the reason for rating this album close to four stars along with the drumming so check it out.I don't think i like this album and rest inside the flames more than their first album cause bitterness the star was really heavy more screaming than singing although brock has a unique singing style.Well only get this if you are a fan of the band but if you want something heavy get their first album it is catorize as nu-metal but it sounds nothing like it only HEAVY metal.And the tide and the takers is also a better album than rest inside the flame or a snow capped romance but in the first three albums the screams are more louder and better cause his screams now are mix with growling.Did i mention that in the first album brock gives awesome growls in some songs kinda death growls too.Free Music Review: one of my favorites

This is one of the best metal cds to come out in this century. I think a lot of people term them as screamo, but I think of them as a great band making heavy music in a new and exciting way. Everything about this cd is breathtaking. The vocals, the riffs, drumming, and bass, everything. And the production is excellent too. It all sounds so crisp coming out of my stereo. If you are open to many kinds of heavy music, then you should not miss these guys. "At the End of August" is worth the price of admission by itself.Free Music Review: Average At Best

This really isn't what you would consider a metal album, more of a post-hardcore album. Don't worry though, this isn't the fashion-laden plague that has been marketed well. Think more like Haste, Snapcase, Poison The Well, and Skycamefalling.
Okay, now to the album. This has some catchy melodies, but the vocals can be quite annoying at times. Overall, if you want something catchy and fun, I'd recommend this. Note that it's not something that's complex and saturated with talent.

We need another one of these dillhole bands like we need another hole in our heads. Enough is enough already! Agayu, As I Lay Crying, Kills**t Engayge and now these guys? Ugh! Jesus Christ, just one look at the name and album cover says it all. See this is where you SHOULD judge a book by its cover (I've always disliked that saying). The riffs are boring and the singer is wimpy, definitely not a good one by any means. Oh and I love how our spotlight reviewer claims the lyrics are "inspiring". So you want some examples of these lyrics that are SO inspiring? Just check out the second song's LyKe TotuLLY AwEsUm lyrix!!!

Seriously, how friggin cheesy can you get? Honestly! The only thing this inspires me to do is bash the members of the band with a rusty soldering iron. Call me a chauvinistic pig but hey I not into the emo thing ok? It's just embarrassing to us men ya know? Oh the music isn't that great either. If it was, however, then I might look past these inherent flaws. And to the fans, imagine listening to this from MY point of view and you'll understand why I hate things like this. You couldn't even pay me to say I like this band even if it was a joke, the utter humiliation that would result from that doesn't have a price. Completely disposable cd. Listen to real metal that my fellow reviews below me recommended.
P.S. "Help me back to awake" isn't even grammatically correct!
