Free Music Notes for A Chorus Line (1975 Original Broadway Cast)Free Music Review: It is a "must have" Hit: 5 Stars
We have the album version--the purchase of the CD was overdue. This play was my first Broadway show and I'll never forget the experience. Listening to this CD makes you feel like you are in the theatre again and the songs are classics that will stand the test of time. "At the Ballet" never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Forget the movie soundtrack version--no comparison to the original Broadway cast. This is a "must have" addition to your collection.
Free Music Review: Wonderful recording of a wonderful show. Hit: 5 Stars
What can I say? A high-quality recording of a high-quality show, with a high-quality cast! If you like ACL, this CD is probably already in your collection - if you're new to ACL this is the perfect place to start. My only complaint is that they cut some of the songs, but enough is left for the listener to get the message of the piece and feel the emotions that ACL is known for. I would recommend this recording to any musical theatre fan.
Free Music Review: My first musical EVER! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm only in high school and this was my very first show I ever did. It was my Freshman year and I was sweet Maggie Winslow. I would have never learned my music and lines if it weren't for this CD. Also "Chorus Line" has really catchy, fun musical theater songs. Anyone who is into Broadway, you need to have this CD as a part of your collection. Beware of sexual content and bad words... even though that stuff helps make it the musical it is!
Free Music Review: Excellent CD! Hit: 5 Stars
What a great album. Even from the very beginning this is a great score. It takes a reallilistic view of broadway auditions. All the songs expose the hard eged sides of the characters. This is great, even though the selling point of the show is Michael Bennet's choreography, but the CD is great even in it's absence. Also, check out "Seesaw", with(out) Micheal Bennetts chorea

I live in NYC and recently saw A Chorus Line on Broadway. I remember it being my favorite show when i first saw it in 1977. While not as great as the original, but still wonderful, I came home realizing that I had to have the CD from the original production. This is a great CD, very well priced. Buy it. And sing along to the fabulous score.
