This artist can definately sing and is a very strong candidate for the production of an album, but the music that all of her songs are set to sounds the same for much of the album. There are a couple of songs that set themselves apart, but I can't say that for even half of the songs. I truly did want to love this album, but it just isn't meant to be even after listening to it several times through. Good voice, decent lyrics, but the synthetic feel and monotony of the music brings it down.Free Music Review: As beautiful to look at as she is to hear...

I pondered buying this album for awhile as I was unsure whether her pretty appearance was prompting me to buy her album or if I liked her music as well. I did buy it after thinking about it for two weeks. I can honestly say that I like both. She is as angelic in appearance as she is in voice and her music reminds me a lot of Keane and Coldplay, bands she was inspired by. It does have the replay value of Coldplay's albums but with something more that brings me back again and again. Her voice reels me in and leaves me not wanting to leave. Any success she achieves is well-deserved. It is rare these days to find artists that are not just "Flavor of the month" types that push out whatever the record company thinks will sell and as a result I plan to buy her other albums as well. The more we support great artists like this, hopefully the record companies will wake up and smell the real talent out there. In closing, this artist is not just another pretty face, she has true talent!Free Music Review: Disappointment

I read some of the other reviews and I'm happy that some people were able to get something out of this album but somehow, I never could. I listened and listened to the songs thinking, "This has got to be for me because she's recommended based on other female singer-songwriters that I love." However, instead of loving this album, I was bored and frankly, a little irritated by the boredom that insued from listening. Lyrics were dull, music was all the same and I would say to people looking for a good female singer-songwriter try: Brandi Carlile, Regina Spektor, Tori Amos' older stuff, Missy Higgins, and/or the first My Brightest Diamond album. But don't bother with this one, you can do so much better!

This is another discovery I made on my own like KT Tunstall-I've had some luck so far. This album is so good, the songs seem to have the potential to be boring but they're not at all. I think its A Fine Frenzy's style and lead singer, I'm not sure what but it makes for a really good album.
