We listen to this CD often, and enjoy it every time. It will bring you back to places in the movie that you loved. Ordered the soundtrack and immediately sent it back because many of the really good songs from the movie were omitted. I'll just have to watch the DVD a lot to enjoy that music, especially when Russell Crowe and Marilyn Cotillard are sitting at the outside cafe watching the movie and listening to the song being sung. I believe the song is called Boum...not on the soundtrack. I would rather have had that than Patti Paige.Free Music Review: what an escape

THE MOVIE,A GOOD YEAR ,IS A WONDERFULFUL ESCAPE ROM THE GREY RAINY DAYS OF WASHINGTON. THERE WAS FRANCE, PLENTY OF MONEY,WINE, GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE,AND OF COURSE THE CHATEAU. THIS MOVIE WAS RIGHT ON WITH IT'S HUMOR AND IT'S ROMANCE. THE MUSIC WAS ALSO GREAT WITH FAMILIAR AMERICAN OLDIES AND SOME SNAPPY FRENCH POP. THOSE WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES COMPLICATED AND SOPHISTICATED GIVE THIS MOVIE A GO. THE CRITICS FAILED TO SEE THE CHARACTER RUSSEL CROWE PLAYED AS A MAN WITH A LOST SOUL UNTIL HE FOUND IT WHEN RETURNING TO FRANCE. ONE LAST THOUGHT DO CHECK OUT MARION COTILLARD. SHE IS TO BE PURSUED IN HER OTHER WORKS. SHE IS INCREDIBLE.

the songs will remind you the movie itself, which makes it possible for you to imagine the scenery there. to feel what this music is all about has absolutely nothing to do with your fluency in french. you can feel it in your heart. however, I wish the other songs from the movie which worth listening more were on the CD. it would be perfect then.
