Free Music Notes for A Hard Day's NightFree Music Review: A milestone album! Hit: 5 StarsThe promotional launching of this historic quartet had without doubt, a solid support. In despite of the fact the previous promotion devices to internationalize Elvis Presley throughout films without major importance but that worked out as the initial concept of Video clip in 35 mms, found in the case of Beatles a true cult movie as effectively occurred in this case. It is important to refresh the social feature at that age. Andy Warhol was a fundamental personage in this sense. The pop art opened a niche in the market. And the possibility to watch for the first time to far audiences who had no chance to assist to their Concerts, increased their status all over the world.
With this song - A hard day' s night -, The Beatles reassumed the role of the ancient jugglers, substituting the lire by the electric guitar, and horses by airplanes. Once more the myth installed in the collective unconscious. They expressed the quotidian penuries of the media class and the aspirations of a new generation who definitively was tired to listen about the War; as natural response or compensation mechanism in the social body.
It's extremely interesting to remark the fact that, from the ashes of the most wounded and bombed country in Europe as England was, the social embryo was creating the nest of the most creative rock. Somehow the social environment in the Fifties jumped ahead respect to American society. In the other hand, while the rock figures in USA were composed by individuals (Little Richard, Jerry Lee and Presley) , in England on the contrary were formed by bands, and that defined a different approach and meaning about the rock in both sides of the Atlantic.
This album was the definitive consolidation and undeniable evidence the Liverpool Quartet was not a simple rock band, but a true pioneer as motivational resistance factor and protest. Jack Keruac and Allan Ginsberg among others responsible of the Beatnik underground movement were relegated to literary encounters; now the sun, bikinis and the movies displayed its enormous influence around the world.
In this sense, this album was the real keystone. So when you buy it you will be acquiring also an important element of live history.
On the other hand the scene was prepared to receive to the Rolling Stones, the other side of the coin, but certainly this is another subject to deal in other review, my appreciated reader.
Free Music Review: Third time is a charm Hit: 5 StarsThe Beatles started out with the albums, Please Please Me and With the Beatles. Although the first two were excellent this one was even better. The songwriting is very good and it is original material. The thing that makes the cd so great is that the songwriting is nice and simple, not overdone.
The McCartney/Lennon duo is starting to develop. George Harrison plays an excellent guitar, and the strumming is beautiful. Ringo on the drums is great, and they all, like a later Beatles song, come together.
I think this album is left out when talking about their great albums because they are overshadowed by later albums like Revolver and Rubber, which don't take me wrong are amazing. But this one also, for me, ranks up their.
Starting off with the title song, "A Hard Day's Night", a classic, with the famous George Harrison strumming. "If I Fell" and "I Love Her" are beautiful ballads. "Can't Buy Me Love" is a classic that I think almost everyone on this planet knows.
"Things We Said Today" is another great (and one of my favorite) Beatles songs. The guitar in the beginning is excellent and the rhythm and beat of the song really make it fantastic.
For a big Beatles fan and/or collector, this is a must have. The album is so enjoyable to listen to, and is packed with 13 of the Beatles finest. Thank you.
Free Music Review: The Beatles first classic album!!! Hit: 5 StarsAlthough without the experimental music of latter releases such as Revolver, Sgt Peppers, & Abbey Road, 1964's A Hard Days Night is The Beatles first classic album & also their first release where all the songs were penned solely by the band. Only originally released in the UK the album was based actually on the film of the same title, and around half of the songs are lifted from that film with the other half new releases (well then they were anyway!!!)
The album included the number 1 hit singles A Hard Days Night, & Can't buy me Love and also includes some other gems such as Any time at all, & I'll be back. The album is mainly filled with love songs and is very easy listening but has a very raw Poppy feel also. But there are also hints of country (I should have known better) Folk (If I feel) & blues (I'm happy just to dance with you). But The Beatles softness in tracks such as If I fell & And I love her, are perhaps the styles that most people remember them for!!!!
A Hard Days Night prooves to be a great listen, and is probably the easiest listening Beatles album & probably the most fun & uplifting album they did. Yes it is without all the fireworks of latter releases but The Beatles prooved that even when they were barely naked they were miles from the nearest competition of the time, or actually of any time!!!!!
Free Music Review: beatles 1st movie Hit: 5 Starsthis movie that goes with the disc,is basicly all about the beatles running from hoardes of crazy groupies.the title track is really good and a #1."i shouldve known better" is 2nd and self explanetory about a chick."if i fell" is a sad john song.its one of the best ones on the album."im happy just to dance with you" is really cool too.then theres the best song on the album,a very pretty "and i love her".then its "tell me why" about a guy trying to figure out a chick.good luck."cant by me love" is about how money cant buy love.no,but itll get the boom boom booming!"ill cry instead" is depressing as you probobaly ascertained.the last 4 are good.they are "things we said today"[nolstalgic],"when i get home"-a wanna be a hard days night,"you cant do that" and lastly,"ill be back".its cool.
Free Music Review: I had the American Version. THIS is Better ! Hit: 5 StarsUSUALLY WHEN YOU SEE LOTS OF LIL' GIRLS GAZING AT THE BAND AND SINGING ALONG WORD FOR WORD WITH EVERY SONG YOU CAN LAY GUARANTEE THAT THE MUSIC SUCKS ...ESPECIALLY IF THE MUSIC IS FORM THE MID 80'S TO THE 90'S AND BEYOND INTO TODAY...WELL ALOT OF LITTLE GALS SANG ALONG TO THE BEATLES BACK IN THE DAY ...AND THE BEATLES DIDN'T SUCK ! I grew up with another "American Version Release" of this that did not have 'THINGS WE SAID TODAY','ANY TIME AT ALL', 'WHEN I GET HOME',the brutally out of place 'YOU CAN'T DO THAT', and the HELP/1965-like ''ILL BE BACK'..those songs ended up on confusing American releases called 'Second Album' and 'Something new"..or somethin' like that,...OFCOURSE THE REST OF THIS IS AWESOME...MAYBE NOT AS GOOD AS WITH/MEET THE BEATLES...once again the British and American copies are different and it is confusing indeed..ALOT OF GOOD STUFF HERE...I LOVE EARLY STUFF..AND AFTERMATH AND BETWEEN THE BUTTONS STONES TYPE STUFF TOO...BUY THIS !
