Patrick Doyle is, in my mind, the best composer of the late20th century. Without fail, every time I sat in a movie theatrethinking "this is a marvelous soundtrack", the music wascomposed by Doyle. "Little Princess", I think is his bestwork...My favorites on this soundtrack are "Kindle MyHeart", "Tyger Tyger", "Ramayana", and the"Christina Elise Waltz". This CD is magical, and for individuals of all ages to enjoy. It is very much eclectic. I am in awe of the cultural aspects of it, as well as the English style music I have had more exposure to. My favorite song on the CD isn't even it the sample songs, and it is absolutely amazing. This CD warms one's heart and kindles one's spirit. It shows the beautiful inner-soul of innocence, provides hope, and has a bit of magic. If you don't have the movie, either, it's a must have! I adore it!Free Music Review: Fit for a Princess

This soundtrack is entrancing. The emotion of the book is portrayed so beautifully through Patrick Doyle's score. He also wrote the scores for such films as "Much Ado About Nothing", "Sense and Sensibility", "Gosford Park", "Bridget Jones's Diary", and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". The song that Sarah Crewe's character sings brings me to tears every time I hear it. Just like watching the movie. Buy it!!!! You won't regret it. I loved this movie as a child and it still fills me with excitement to see it! I love the soundtrack so much, too. All the music featured in the movie is on it, including my favorite tunes that were played during Sara's story of Rama (Called "Ramayana, a Morning Raga") and "Kindle My Heart." This music is so totally out there. ya get the pop music for us teens but I like a varity! This music suits the movie, like yeh! There's not many movies where your hooked not only by the movie but the music aswell! "A little Princess" would not be same without the stunning groovy music 4 it! So u go peoples!
