Free Music Review: Prarie Home Companion CD is a must for any music lover!

The songs on this CD sound even better than they did in the movie.
My favorite tracks are the Woody Harrelson and Meryl Streep songs which I have been playing over and over.
If you liked the music in the film this CD delivers. It is always great and refreshing to hear the real actors doing the singing.
The video performances are an added bonus and looked great on my computer.
Also it worked perfectly on my iTunes.
This CD is a must!

While the songs are out of order when compared to the movie, they are as solid on the disk as they are in the movie. If you liked the movie or are a fan of the Prairie Home Companion radio show, this CD is for you. Meryl Streep's voice is magnificent and "GK" is solid. Woody Harrelson is a pleasant surprise too, along with Lilly Tomlin. This is a great buy. The CD is great and the DVD is even better...one for audio and one for visual, and both in the same package... WOW! The music is exceptional... It is touching, funny and very entertaining... Have recommended it to friends.. So glad I bought A Prairie Home Companion Original Soundtrack CD/DVD.. What a deal, what entertainment...

True to Prairie Home Companion style this soundtrack contains a collaboration of musicians and singers including a couple instrumentals from The Guys All-Star Shoe Band. This soundtrack is an excellent piece on it's own and captures the classic sound of the Prairie Home Companion show. The performances are great and the accompanying DVD offers some exceptional moments from the film.
I was also able to import the Music into Itunes on my Mac without any problems. The songs sound great on my I-Pod.
