From start to finish, this CD is one of the most enjoyable that I own. It's a class act and it will MAKE YOU DANCE, BABY!!! Juan de Marcos González dedicated this album to "Don Rubén González, genius of Cuban piano". How appropriate! In addition to Rubén, the CD features Manuel Mirabal (one of the greatest trumpet players I have ever heard), Demetrio Muńiz (trombone), Ibrahim Ferrer (vocals) and Orlando López (bass).
Juan de Marcos González, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your huge role in promoting both traditional and modern Cuban music, and particularly for your energetic efforts to share this wonderful treasure with the world beyond Cuba's borders. Were it not for you, those of us in the United States might still be deprived of the talent of Ibrahim Ferrer, Rubén González, Manuel Mirabal and so many others.
Like an unofficial Cuban embassador to the world, you travel the globe with a musical message that has to improve relations.

Okay this was the 2nd release from the Buena Vista Social Club group of recordings and musicians. Buena Vista is beautiful and covers many bases but if you wanted to party on a Saturday night THIS is the record. IT COOKS!!!!!!!!!!Free Music Review: Muy Bien!

Si tu te gustas eso tipo de musica, A Toda Cuba Le Gusta es para ti. Simplemente es buena musica de Cuba y todo el disco compacto es fantastico. A mi me gusta todos los canciones, y ademas yo nunca oyo musica que tiene mas emocion de esto. Mi espanol no es perfecto porque yo todavia estoy un estudiante en colegio Homestead.Free Music Review: simply the most uplifting album of all time!

As every other reviewer has said, ATCLG just gets inside you from the first listen and makes you jump up and dance. The only issue i have is that nobody seems to have mentioned "Alto Songo" or "Elube Chango", which to me are the two most infectious songs; Alto Songo has 4 great vocalists, a wonderful slide guitar solo from Ry Cooder and a piano solo. It then finishes with a rousing combination of all the aforementioned elements. Elube Chango has such instinctively excellent trumpet and percussion, it stays with you long after the album has finished.This is undoubtledly the best upbeat album i have heard, better than buena vista; if you haven't got it yet, WHY NOT??

This CD is great. I have been looking for a CD to help bring me back to my Cuban roots and this is the one. You understand the origins of a lot of the music we listen to today after listening to this. You can put this CD and let it play without skipping any of the tracks because they are all EXCELENTE!!!
