Hit: 5 Stars

What else can you say about this album.this is an essential recording for any rock & roll fan.AC/DC kicks ass through out this whole album. Most songs on this album are concert staple. This album starts up with the classic HELLS BELLS the ominous tolls wich was copied later on by metallica its a bit spooky with its evilish lyrics "SATAN GET YOU,SATAN GET YOU HELLS BELLS" .Fallowed by SHOOT TO THRILL wich is another classic on this cd the opening riff is amazing with the little good, the bad,and the ugly riffs in the middle. After that its the gold diggers anthem WHAT DO YOU FOR MONEY HONEY fallowed by GIVEN THE DOG A BONE wich is a bit tounge and cheek if you listen to the lyrics "SHES GOIN DOWN TO THE DEVIL DOWN 90 DEGREES" as in on her knees (BJ).fallowed by another double meaning song LET ME PUT MY LOVE INTO YOU.and then ofcourse the title track what can be said about this masterpice every one knows that riff E,DDD,AAA when i was little i would here it and say that rocks this along with HIGHWAY TO HELL got me into AC/DC.AND ofcourse the concert staple YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG probablly AC/DC most known song. The next two song are underated on this album HAVE A DRINK ON ME is an awsome track along with SHAKE A LEG.and then the closing statement ROCK & ROLL AINT NOISE POLLUTION this is an Fu to any one you thinks rock is going anywhere it makes you "THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE FORGET ABOUT THE PAST" because "ROCK & ROLL AINT NOISE POLLUTION,ROCK & ROLL AINT GONNA DIE,ROCK & ROLL IT WILL SURVIVE"
and with AC/DC at the head of this promise you know it wont.everyone knows some one that owns BACK IN BLACK if they dont own it themselfs and going DOUBLE DIMOND AINT THAT BAD FOR A 20+ YEAR OLD ALBUM.
AC/DC BEST BAND EVER BON SCOTT OR BRIAN JOHNSON THEY KICK a$$.

Free Music Review: Rock on, people. Rock on
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm gonna keep this simple, because this is simple music. Not "simple" as in "stupid", but "simple" as in "stripped-down, basics and nothing more". Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, drums and vocals. If you just wanna rock, what more do you need? I appreciate a lot of music, including some that most would deem "serious" (jazz; progressive rock; some classical), and I still would rank this as one of the twenty or so best albums ever made. Basically, this is the definitive AC/DC album (not to mention the best), so if you don't like this, you probably don't like the band much, either.
Now AC/DC made several fine albums: High Voltage, Dirty Deeds, Let There Be Rock, Powerage, Highway to Hell. This bests 'em all. Not a filler in sight. Not a wasted note. Quite to the contrary, in fact. You've got my favorite hard rock song ever made, You Shook Me All Night Long. You've got other radio favorites: the stomping title track, with an army of riffs; the menacing Hells Bells, much scarier than any stupid Slayer death-metal; you've got Shoot to Thrill, which is actually pretty intelligent composition-wise; and more basic rockers like What Do You Do For Money Honey and Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, with a well-placed buildup. One song I feel was unfairly lost in the shuffle is Have a Drink on Me, a very funny song that kicks butt like all the rest. And even the relatively weak tracks would've led the pack on any other album. Either they're brimming with enthusiasm (Shake a Leg; Given the Dog a Bone), or they're augmented with uberriffs (Let Me Put My Love into You). So this is great. If you don't have this, I've gotta request you put it on your shopping list. This ties with Who's Next as the best hard rock album ever made.

Free Music Review: AC/DCS grand return
Hit: 5 Stars

AC/DC definitely wasn't done after Bon Scott's death. They might have done better if he was still around but personally I'm more glad to have Back in Black around. Easily the rockiest album they'd done so far, I enjoyed this even more than Highway to Hell. And for once, there's not any songs that I hate. But there are parts of songs that I don't like at all. Hells Bells is one of the best AC/DC songs ever. From the bells at the beginning to the excellent riff to the freaky lyrics, this song is a masterpiece. Shoot To Thrill has never been one of my favorite songs because its riff just isn't that rocking. But the lyrics are great and the middle part where it gets quiet is great. What Do You Do For Money Honey has a great riff and a great solo. The title track is pure genius. The riff is unimanigaby good. You Shook Me All Night Long is not my favorite song on here but its pretty good especially the main riff. The last great song on here is Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution. The bluesy song works fine here even on a hard rock album.

Now for the other songs. Let Me Put My Love Into You has a catchy riff, but I've never really liked it that much because it's kind of slow but hey it works. Givin the Dog a Bone is bad at first but once all the guitars join in, its another great rock song. Have A Drink on Me starts out just ok but the main riff is fantastic. Shake a Leg has a slow start and it sounds like they don't know what to do with the song, but once it gets to the main riff, its great. Back in Black in my opinion is the best AC/DC album because it has a lot more hard rock and even the bluesier songs work. This is a great album. Make sure to get it.

Free Music Review: Still a rocking album over 2 decades later!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I heard some songs from Back In Black over the years, but didn't get to hear the entire album until 1997(!). AC/DC definitely rocked all throughout, one continuous, catchy rocker after another! Back In Black has the most addictive riff of any rock record out there! The opening two songs, Back In Black and Hell's Bells (which I still hear at sports arenas these days), set the standard for strong opening songs for an album. You have to kick real hard in the beginning! I like the final cut Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, proving that this band loves to make music and doesn't care what the panning critics think. Shoot to Thrill, You Shook Me All Night Long, and a bluesy kind of song (Have A Drink on Me) on the album are other surprises. As I listened to the album, it kind of wears thin between tracks 8 and 9. Obviously, those few songs are less interesting, because it follows such very phenomenal rock songs. Since Back To Black, I've noticed that they've sticked to the same formula of recording their albums. This album has a lot of rhythm to it along with the stomping, head banging and heavy pounding of your feet when you listen to it. Angus Young's rock leads are still legendary on this album! For the band to continue with Brian Johnson after the death of Bon Scott is quite remarkable as well as continuing the band's importance and longevity in music. One of the greatest albums in music history and it's still selling like crazy--over 19-20 million or so sold to this day! It had Mutt Lange producing it, which led him to making some of the greatest rock albums of the '80s'/'90s, the Neptunes back then of rock in his own right!

Free Music Review: AC/DC's finest hour
Hit: 5 Stars

AC/DC released their first album of the 1980s Back in Black in July of 1980. The album was the first since the death of frontman Bon Scott and marks the arrival of Brian Johnson who joins lead guitarist Angus Young and his rhythm guitar playing brother Malcolm, bass player Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd on this classic contribution to rock and roll history. There is no single weak track included, even the lesser-known album tracks are strong and kick ass. Despite the fact that AC/DC, returning producer Mutt Lange and engineer tony Platt recorded this album in the Bahamas, this is no reggae album or AC/DC gone rastafarian. Instead, the album is filled with all of the booze, sex and rock n' roll that goes with it. Brian screams rather than sings, but AC/DC at the top of their game wrote the best, catchiest hard rock songs you can imagine, like the grand, anthemic Hell's Bells which its bell tolling came about from Malcolm in the restroom or the magnificent title track which its riff came from the Highway to Hell tour backstage. Have A Drink On Me was a great send-off to Bon. Shoot to Thrill was the rock and roll version of an outlaw song. The Top 40 hit You Shook Me All Night Long is classic despite Mutt's reservations that the song was too wordy. The closing Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution is classic with its evangelistic beginning. Brian's intro was a great poking fun at the evangelists. Back in Black was a smash immediately hitting #4 and selling 19 million in the US alone and it was because of the material and not the personalitites. Highly recommended!
