Free Music Notes for Back in BlackFree Music Review: Still dangerously addictive Hit: 5 Stars
It's unbelievable how Back In Black rocks. Been listening to it since its release in July 1980 and it just keeps getting dangerously better and better! With its iconic black and white cover, it actually delivers more than it promises.
Gutted and inspired by terrible loss, AC/DC never sounded so focused and fresh - somehow the guitars are perfectly balanced sounding clear and strong and the pounding of the bass/drums a joy to listen to. Comprised only of first class riffs, this is no noise pollution: this is hard rock and roll at its very best.
For Brian Johnson to have come and replaced the irreplaceable Bon Scott the way he did was no small feat, this being totally against the odds as Scott's voice and charisma were at the core of the band's signature sound.
And just how unthinkable was it for AC/DC and Brian Johnson to have pulled this off from start to finish by releasing Back In Black less than five months after Bon Scott's untimely death? Time was definitely running at a different pace then. Or was it some type of magic delivered by a couple of very talented Young men?
The digipak remastered edition released in 2003 is the one to get and bears outstanding sound quality capable of keeping the neighbours at bay for the duration of the album... this if you don't consider pressing play to start it all over again...

Free Music Review: ACDC WILL NEVER DIE!!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
i think i'm the biggest fan of this band ever, and i beleive that even as popular as they are, they don't get enough credit... buy this album and youll see why. every song is strong.
Hells bells
back in black
you shook me all night long
shoot to thrill
rock and roll ain't noise pollution
have a drink on me
what do you do for money honey
shake a leg
given the dog a bone
from best to worst...... Brian Johnson gets all this crap , like hes got a crappy voice and all that .. Bon scott was better blaa blaa ... Bon was really good but so was Brian ... he takes a new approach which i think fits the music better. It's incredibly sad .. what happened to Bon , but without his death .. back in black would probably not be as good as it is... and infact probably wouldnt be called back in black as it is a song in tribute of his death.
This is real music ... no rap or metalica or linkin park can ever some within a thousand miles of matching this. I didn't know what music untill i was intruiged by this hard rock and roll. It is deeper than you think, it's music from the devil himself.. which is from ACDC's words. From the cool, hard hells bells to the fun, fast shoot to thrill... they just get the music right.
Free Music Review: For whom the bell tolls. Hit: 5 Stars
Forget the friggin' back story. As soon as the blues chording of "Hells' Bells" start climbing over the tolling of that massive liberty bell intro to this classic album, things don't let up for a moment. Even the slightly off songs would sound incredible on someone else's hard rock album. This was AC/DC at their surliest, snarlingest and most threatening best. You can scan the radio dial of classic rock stations in any city and chances are there will be a song from "Back In Black" playing somewhere on the dial. That the album really was AC/DC's triumph over adversity just makes the legend all the more satisfying, because songs that celebrate rock in the way "You Shook Me All Night Long" only come along once a decade. (Even this band couldn't make it strike twice, "For Those About to Rock" never measured up to this album for me.) The remaster job makes it all the more worthwhile. "Back In Black" is now louder, nastier and (be it possible) cleaner than ever. Turning it to 10 makes it sound, to qouthe Spinal Tap, like just one more. I think this might be the fourth time I've laid out the cash for this album. Do I feel had? Not in the least. Melt your face off rock never came any better. Still doesn't. 'Nuff Said.
Free Music Review: AC/DC Second Best Hit: 5 Stars
Many AC/DC fans say this is their masterpiece. I say it's awesome, but my pick for best AC/DC is Highway To Hell. But this album ain't far behind. It contains AC/DC best known songs. The guitar solos are great. Angus Young is a great guitarist. His brother,Malcolm, young plays rhythmn guitar and he's pretty good as well. The bass is pretty good. But Brian Johnson's vocals aren't that good. I perfer Bon Scott's vocals. No offense to Brian, he's a good singer, but I just perfer Bon Scott. And lastly, the drumming, is ok, but after a while it just gets repatitive. Now I will review my favorite tracks...
1. Hells Bells-5/5-Classic song. The intro reminds me of "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica. I wonder why...
6. Back In Black-5/5-Okay, we've all heard this song, so I guess there's really nothing for me to say that hasn't been said.
7. You Shook Me All Night Long-5/5-I love this song. My favorite off the album. I love the lyrics "She was a fast machine/She was the best damn woman I've ever sene"
10. Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution-5/5-The classis outro. Another great song.
All in all, Back In Black is a great album. It is mandotory for ALL rock music fans. Buy this and Highway To Hell for AC/DC's best albums.
