Free Music Review: This cd is awsome
Hit: 5 Stars

Bon Scott is the true ACDC singer, and this is a great example.IT's pure great rock that any ACDC fan would love. This sure as hell shows how much better Bon is than Brian Jhonson.

It's a long way to the top-Gives me a lot of energy when i listen to it.Good lyrics, rythm and just a great song-10\10
Rock n roll singer-Even better than the last song. The singing is awsome and of course the guitars are top notch.
Jack- Never liked it.To dumb and dull-2\10
live wire-What an amazing song.My fav on this album and mabee even my fav ACDC song.Has a fast tempo and a super cool solo.
T.N.T-A classic ACDC song.Need i say more-10\10
Can i sit next to u girl-Not bad,but the best.Its pretty catchy but doesn't compare to T.N.T,rock n roll singer or live wire;still good-8\10
little lover-Boring.It drags on and on.It tells a story on how he met his girlfreind at his own concert before he was famous.Thats pretty interesting, but thr song still sucks-4\10
she's got balls-I feel the same about this one as little lover.-4\10
High voltage-Great way to end the cd.About high voltage rock n roll, you can tell by just that that this song will be great-10\10.

Free Music Review: Can't Get Much Higher Than This
Hit: 5 Stars

This is rock & roll man! This album is also a bastard. Literally. To be more refined, two songs are from High Voltage, the group's first album, and the other seven are TNT, their second album. But who should worry? It rocks! Angus is still young so he ain't as amazing, but for meaty licks and riffs, it's the best of its kind. Malcolm provides some weird backing vocals, from the growling of Live Wire to the robotic drone of the title track. And Bon is in top form. Love the pipes of Long Way.

The goodies:

It's A Long Way To The Top: Bon rocks and the mike with his nic fit voice and bagpipes! The meat on the riff is excellent.

The Jack: The ultimate double entendre song. This song's extra bluesy.

Live Wire: Pumping bass and cool lyrics highlight this one.

TNT: OY! OY! Need I say more. Another meaty riff.

Little Lover: Groovy little metal blues number.

High Voltage: Classic r&r anthem. Great guitar and grwat Bon vocals.

Other albums were more metal and more serious, in fac t here they were called a novelty act. But its classic. Definately high voltage, definetely punk.

Free Music Review: Bon Scott was Genius
Hit: 5 Stars

HIGH VOLTAGE is by far my favorite Bon Scott era album from these mates. Voltage was one of my first AC/DC albums, and it is probably the most pure, unadultarated and direct rock 'n' roll album i'v ever listened to in my life. Not Aerosmith, nor Kiss, not Zepplin or anyone else has put out a rock album THIS fine. This was the first american release from the band, which came out in 1976 to be exact. It should be known that they had released their real first album called TNT in 74 and their second album called HIGHVOLTAGE in 75, which were only availble out side of America. This version is a more of a compilation of those two publicly unavailable albums (74 Jailbreak has the songs that never made it to this american release, almost). Still, this is classic! i have this on vinly and it still sounds as wonderful as it did when it was first pressed. TNT, IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP, LIVE WIRE, CAN I SIT NEXT TO YOU GIRL and HIGHVOLTAGE are the best songs. It is worth it for Bon Scott alone, just hearing his snearing and charisma is awesome.

Free Music Review: High Voltage
Hit: 5 Stars

AC/DC's debut album, High Voltage, is a stripped-down collection of loud, raw, rude rockers, mostly odes to rock & roll and its attendant hard-partying lifestyle -- to paraphrase the leadoff track, "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)," getting drunk, stoned, beat up, and laid. The band reveled in its own macho obnoxiousness, particularly Bon Scott; at the end of the gleefully sexist, double-entendre-filled "The Jack," Scott grandiosely thanks a hostile, booing dubbed-in crowd. While their sense of humor and clever wordplay made early AC/DC a great deal of sleazy, infectious fun, the band's revolutionary musical attack could not be overlooked -- Angus Young's manic guitar solos overlaid a series of simple, basic boogie grooves delivered with ferocious power and volume, a sound that made the band a popular attraction at British punk clubs around this same time. The formula would be refined on subsequent albums, but High Voltage proves that AC/DC were already in the big leagues.
