Free Music Notes for Let There Be Rock (Dlx)Free Music Review: Let there be rock!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
This is my third favorite album of ACDC, only behind back in black and razors edge. I love this album the most because of Whole lotta rosie. this song has me playing air guitar the whole song. This band is truly insane. The thing i love about them is their attitude. It's all fun and dirty in their minds and they wont take any crap from those who think their music is bad. ( who thinks acdc plays bad music.. honestly). I also love their song hell ain't a bad place to be. I heard some one on this review thing wrote that it was a weak filler song. NO WAY!!! It is easily one of their stongest deepest songs. Dog eat dog is also one of my favs. All the songs here are great. The only one i don't like is overdose ... and it's still pretty good.
I would definately recommend this album to those about to rock!!!!!
Free Music Review: Give Me All Ya Got Hit: 5 Stars
I find it very difficult to write about AC/DC. Those bare-bones, basic, 3-chord guitar riffs have been played and over-played a thousand times. But no one does it better than the Young Brothers & no one was a better frontman than the late, great Bon Scott.
"Let There Be Rock" rocks! Plain and simple. The '03 re-issues give the collectors & fans a bit more of a look into these Australians' rock 'n' roll world. But the fact remains that they just never deliver a bad album. At least with B. Scott on the mic. "Go Down" gets the party started. Scott's lyrics on "Dog Eat Dog" are hilarious. And "Overdose," "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be" and "Whole Lotta Rosie" end the affair on as high a note as possible. Great rock 'n' roll by a legendary band. Enough said.
Free Music Review: Excellent Album, one of the best! Hit: 5 Stars
This album is truly one of AC/DC's best! Though "Problem Child" was put in place of "Crabsody in Blue," this album doesnt dissappoint me at all. I have every AC/DC album and this is one of my favorites. The sole mixture of blues and rock makes this a great album for fans. You may notice a decline in sound quality, but you get over it and accept it as a classic flavor touch. The people that give this album poor reviews are either non-AC/DC fans, or they are deaf. I reccomend this as your second AC/DC album if you are just starting, you should get the power-packed "Highway to Hell" first. This would be an excellent follow-up. To put this in a nutshell, go out and buy this, you surely will not be dissappointed.
Free Music Review: Angus, 'Nuff Said. Hit: 5 Stars
Personally, I feel this release and "Powerage" are Angus's finest moments in the Bon Scott era of the band. Some might argue "Highway To Hell" deserves the honors, but for the sheer sonic ferocity of Angus's fretwork, the buck stops here. The amps are cranked up to 11 and Angus just doesn't let up. No power ballads, no acoustic guitar or "keyboards", just flat out, pedal to the metal, rock 'n' roll. Arguably, AC/DC's rawest & purest "guitar" album. All killer, no filler. A must have for any rock fan. Oh, & by the way...anyone who reviews this album & a George Michael album is no AC/DC fan. I ain't sellin' my soul just to crack the top 100.
Free Music Review: Bon Scott!!!!!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
With AC/DC,Rock will always be there. This album being the latest addition to my collection. The 4th with Bon,in my collection. May I say,Bon was the Best!!!!!! With all respect to Brian Johnson ,who led sang on perhaps, one of my fave albums of all time,Back In Black.Bon just sang with the rawest energy ever,in my opinion. This album just had the rockenest rockers ever.Starting off with "Go Down",which has so much energy.Than going into "Dog eat Dog","Let There Be Rock","Bad Boy Boogie","Problem Child"(of course,it was on Dirty Deeds too),through the last "Whole Lott Rosie".This album just has so much energy and will rock your socks off!!!!!!!!!
Bon and AC/DC
