The international version of "High Voltage" was a hit... yes but then AC/DC steped all over it with "Let There Be Rock", the loudest, fastest record of their career. The brillant Bon Scott is here at his best... Just listen to the way he shouts "LETTHEREBEROCK!!!!". The songs are so heavy that Angus' amplifier cought fire halfway through the recording of the title-track.
All the tracks just spit fire. No record collection is complete without this album.

LET THERE BE ROCK- This album from the Bon era is only surpassed by POWERAGE and contains some of the rawest, dirty, heavy driven songs AC/DC ever recorded. Great songs off this album include DOG EAT DOG, LET THERE BE ROCK,WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE,OVERDOSE, and PROBLEM CHILD.But like any AC/DC record all the songs rock.Sounds a lot more trashy and underproduced than BACK IN BLACK, or HIGHWAY TO HELL, but it makes up for it in raw energy and hard rockin tunes.Free Music Review: 5 stars, but...

Why did they include Problem Child instead of Crabsody in Blue? Problem Child was already released on Dirty Deeds in remastered form. The only reason it was ever put on Let There Be Rock was because Dirty Deeds wasn't released in the U.S. until 1981, so Problem Child was thrown on Let there Be Rock instead of Crabsody in Blue. They should have included it on the re-remastered release here. Oh, well...this album rocks anyway.Free Music Review: a brilliant ac/dc masterpiece

let there be rock is amongst my top ten favourite albums and is their second best album after the great highway to hell.not a single track on this excellent album is a filler and each song tries to outdo each other in hard rock brilliance.the standout tracks are let there be rock,problem child,bad boy boggie and whole lotta rosie.very highly recommended with high voltage and highway to hell.Free Music Review: ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!

LET THERE BE ROCK,yeah!!!!This is a HARD ROCKIN' album.(to say the least!)The title says it all,pure rock!Bon's voacles are amazing and the band playes tight.This album is one of the loudest,loud vocles,loude guitars and big soloes!My favorite song has got to be WHOLE LOTA ROSIE,great beat,great soles, just a realy great song.You want a rock album?,you found one!
