Free Music Review: The Power of AC/DC
Hit: 5 Stars

AC/DC's POWER AGE is one of the band's best production pieces. The stand out song here is SIN CITY which is probably the precursor to the future HIGHWAY TO HELL. However, RIFF RAFF and ROCK N ROLL DAMNATION come in close. The patented Young and Young rhythm section of three chord guitar crunches and Bon Scott's wailing with slight humorous tone is perfect for their song writing abilities. Their take on clichés and giving them a rock point of view is what they do best. If Chuck Berry was rock 'n' roll's poet laureate, AC/DC were the poet laureate's of hard rock. Classic line from ROCK N ROLL DAMNATION: "You say that the music's too loud? Well, Baby that's tough!"

Free Music Review: The MOST underrated AC/DC album!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Most people who don't have this cd have never heard any of these songs... Well now's your chance. Go out and buy this cd. All of the songs are great.. but my favorites are as follows...
Rock and Roll Damnation is probably the highlight with it's power and its one of my all time favorites.. Down Payment Blues is different but once you hear it you'll love it.. RIFF RAFF is just what it says with awesome riffs and all!! Sin City, Gone Shootin, Up to my neck in you, and kicked in the teeth again are my other favorites on the album.. but i like all of the songs. I highly recommend this cd to everybody who loves AC/DC or any classic Rock!

Free Music Review: A Must for Any AC/DC Fan
Hit: 5 Stars

Powerage is AC/DC's most underrated album of the Bon Scott era (1974- February 19th 1980) and is at the same time there best album in terms of studio recording. After capturing the world's attention in 77 with the thundering guitars in Let There Be Rock, Malcolm and Angus turned down the marshal amps and channel the raw aggression into Riff Raff giving you a 50's era feel.

This is a must for any AC/DC fan. I recommend this Album along with Flick of the Switch because both capture the band before and after the Hype of the Mutt era (79-81) and prove that AC/DC is the best in there field of music without heavy promotion.

Free Music Review: Essential!!
Hit: 5 Stars

OK, so everyone prefers Back in Black. It has the hit singles. It made Angus and the boys gazillionaires. But Powerage, my friends, is the best AC/DC album, and one of the greatest rock and roll records of all time. You can't beat Bon, and the rawness is still intact. Every single song is a killer.....all killer, no filler. Sin City, Down Payment Blues, Riff Raff (covered by the Columbian Neckties), Up to My Neck, Kicked in the Teeth.....play at maximum volume for best effect.
Probably one of the top 20 or so essential rock and roll records of all time right up there with Zeppelin II, Never Mind the Bollocks, etc.
