Free Music Notes for Powerage (Dlx)Free Music Review: A Masterpiece Hit: 5 Stars
Despite the fact that this album is one of the most underrated AC/DC albums out there, every track on this album is worth a listen, or most likely a few more. the highlight songs on this album are: Rock n Roll Damnation Sin City Riff Raff Gone Shootin Whats Next to the Moon the production is raw, and this album shows AC/DC on a high pedestal. the lineup is: Angus Young: lead guitar Malcolm Young: rhythm guitar Bon Scott: vocals Cliff Williams: Bass ----- his debut with AC/DC Phil Rudd: Drums
Free Music Review: THE BEST BON ERA ALBUM, MAYBE THE BEST OF ALL TIME TOO Hit: 5 Stars
I definatly think that this was ac/dc's greatest effort with bon scott, i think it blows away the overrated/overplayed "highway to hell" stait to hell.this is really what this band is all about, albums like this that are just strait out blues based hard rock. i think this album and "flick of the switch" are ac/dc's greatest recordings. my favorites are "sin city" "down payment blues" "gimme a bullet" "riff raff" and "whats next to the moon". maybe they should give this album airtime instaed of highway and bib all of the time.
Free Music Review: Fantastic Album but notthe package Hit: 5 Stars
The Powerage album is the first AC/DC album with no confusion (besides the European vynil record adding Cold Hearted Man which is on Backtracks) But the packaging the reissues realy screwed it up the songs are left in tackkt but the cardboard is aways falling apart I already had to transfer Powerage and the International High Volatge into jewel cases and also in 1994 when they remastered Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap they restored the full versions of the title track and Aint No Fun but here there the edited versions
Free Music Review: Underrated Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of the seemingly countless albums that are SO underrated (Such as South Of Heaven, Ram It Down, and Psycho Circus). Although I do like Brian Johnson as a singer better than Bon, that doesn't mean this is not a good album. All the songs are good, in true AC/DC style and with those little sounds in Angus' guitar that makes you go "Oh, yeah, that's an AC/DC song", even though youv'e never heard it before. Whatever, all the songs are great and I feel this is one of the most underrated albums ever.
Free Music Review: Underrated Hit: 5 Stars
Any AC/DC fan will tell you this is one of AC/DCs best! It might not be one of there most popular albums, but if you purchase it , provided your into this kind of music, you too will realise what you have been missing!!!! its a must have classic album!!!!!The downfall to this new re-issue is the track "cold hearted man" it should defnitly have been included seeing as how it was on a few scarce European versions of Powerage and an Australian box set of LP's! The song should defnitly have been inculded!
