I wasn't familiar with Aaron Neville's music until I heard him sing "Louisiana 1927" on TV after hurricane Katrina and during the flooding. That song truly touched my heart. I had to have it. I found it on Amazon and liked the other song samples too, so I purchased it. When I heard the whole CD, he went from "never heard of him" to "all time favorite" instantly. His wonderful, unmistakable voice is addicting. I love all the songs on the CD, but I'm partial to "Don't Take Away My Heaven", "Warm Your Heart", "Louisiana 1927", and "To Make Me Who I Am", as well as the livelier "Over You" "Angola Bound" and "Use Me".The last song is the very beautiful "Don't Know Much" which he sings with Linda Ronstadt; it's a captivating blend of their two very distinctive voices. Aaron neville with an impossible voice tell us about our time: catastrophic invasion of water in Louisiana. It comes again. They want to wash us again. Eric Laurent, from France spoke about this artistic gem. And I say it is like beauty for Keats a joy forever.

This is my first Aaron Neville CD and it does not disappoint at all--a lovely instrument he has with his voice--an American original. I saw him live at The Birchmere theatre in Northern Virginia not too long ago and his voice was almost drowned out by his accompyment, however, you hear his wonderful voice so clearly on the CD--I highly recommend it to fans.Free Music Review: I admire Aaron,s Neville's voice so much!

i would rather listen to Aaron Neville and Carlos Santana than anyone,well Elvis had a great set of pipes also...But now Aaron is my top pick for gospel music also.He is real and all he has to move are his vocal chord's to get my attention.It's that "quiver"thing he does and his high pitched notes that amaze me...I'd love to hear him and Elvis singing gospel together or Aaron singing with Santana playing! But that is a personal dream that won't happen, unless I do some mixin',myself!
