Free Music Notes for Kindest DaysFree Music Review: A Sprinkle of brilliance Hit: 4 StarsAaron Sprinkle is an amazing songwriter and fantastic musician. The Kindest Days, his second solo release while on hiatus from his band Poor Old Lu, doesn't reach the stellar status of his debut solo record, Moontraveler, but this album shines with Sprinkle's intelligent lyrics and Beatlesque musicality.
Free Music Review: Talented Artist Hit: 4 StarsThe music-lover inside of me wants to give this five stars, but I just don't feel it's worthy of a "perfect" rating. Some of the songs just don't immediately grab you right away. For me, it took awhile to grow warm with this album. But once I did, I took notice of its genius. This CD has plenty of well-written songs and Sprinkle is one gifted lyricalist. I nodded in agreement in his song "Sick Inside" as he sings, "It's like I got a second job that never pays." How true when it comes to trying to get along with people in this life!Sprinkle's "Kindest Days" is a little different than his first album, "Moontraveler." When the first one had more ballads and acoustic songs, this one sounds a little more full. Not to say this one's better; I probably like them both equally. I also should mention that the CD has good cover design, with cool photos of the man Aaron Sprinkle himself. He's a funny guy; he looks so punk-ish (with his nose ring and all), then writes these near-superb pop melodies. Overall, I highly recommend "Kindest Days." Not perfect, but not a bad CD to play as you're cruising. It'll impress the babes and you'll become more macho.
Free Music Review: Typical Aaron Sprinkle Brilliance Hit: 5 StarsHeard it. Loved it. Aaron Sprinkle's melodic rock always impresses me. Any Poor Old Lu/Rose Blossom Punch/Aaron Sprinkle fan will love this new CD. Even better than Moontraveller; done in typical Aaron Sprinkle fashion.
Free Music Review: Aaron's back in the groove Hit: 5 StarsAaron Sprinkle, onced again amazes me beyond believe his new album is incredible. It's even better then moontravler and i loved that album anything that Aaron touches turns into gold. I've been following Aaron every since the Poor Old Lu days. He's just super talented and puts most musicians to shame he's help revive christian music and make it fun to listen to again.
Free Music Review: I'm going to wear this one out too! Hit: 5 StarsI wore out my last Aaron Sprinkle CD, Moontravler (scratches) and I had to buy another one! After hearing this one I know it's going to become my new favorite. The Lyrics are intriguing, the melodies captivating. It's the kind of CD that you don't notice when it has repeated several times, you keep looking forward to the next song...
