If you love ABBA music and want to enjoy more of their musical contributions beyond the soundtract of Mama Mia, this is the album for you.
It includes the Mama Mia songs and a number of lesser known songs that are delightful. If, however, you are more interested in enjoying the music of Mama Mia sung by ABBA, instead of the movie or stage performers, ABBA Gold will fill that need. I have the Definitive Collection (2 CD's) to enjoy with my home sound system and ABBA Gold (one disc) for my car. It's hard to stay down or blue listening to ABBA's upbeat music.

Though they became the butt of many jokes, Abba really produced some good, cheery songs, well worth your attention. I discovered them somewhat by accident all these years later, hearing a couple of their tunes on satellite radio, and decided to splurge a bit on the CD. When I first bought this CD I knew that I would be pleased, in which I was. Come to think of it, there were quite a few songs that became newly favorites of mine, such as "Honey, Honey", "Angel eyes", "Under Attack", and "Thank you for the music" are very good. I thought ABBA Gold was inspirational, but this CD is impressive.
From what I've learned the name of ABBA actually comes from the singers first initials themselves. As in the following:

Benny
Bjorn
Agnetha
I recommend this album and music group to anyone, especially to those who are seeking good and decent music.

This really is the ABBA definitive collection, al the songs I remember from them are here, the quality of the sound is wonderful. I know that after releasing Mamma Mia some other collections are selling, but this one contains more than 30 songs, and it's great.
