I have been playing this music in my Headstart preschool classroom for over 30-days. What I've come to discover is that, although I love the music of the likes of Ella Jenkins and Greg & Steve for the purpose of music "appreciation", the "Smart Songs" CDs are invaluable when it comes to seriously educating my kids on specific subjects, and supporting my lesson plan. These "Smart Songs", and those on the 2nd CD, help me to achieve the "Desired Results" for child development in the Anaheim City School District. With the introduction of concepts such as spacial awareness, good manners, counting, and others presented through this music, my student comprehension has increased tenfold.
