Free Music Review: Major recommendation (and minor warning)

Without going into details: this is a wonderful, inspiring movie, it obviously has some of the greatest pop music written in the 20th century, and (not so obviously) it has surprisingly good performances by the cast. Some of them are excellent. Jim Sturgess even sounds eerily like Paul McCartney on several tracks. A minor warning: not all of the performances, as heard on this excerpts CD or the (far superior) Deluxe Edition are identical to the ones featured in the movie, both in terms of arrangement/production and in terms of which cast member sings which bit of the lyrics.Free Music Review: check out itunes

ok, so across the universe was the greatest movie and the soundtrack is amazing. i was geared up to buy this album when i decided to check out itunes. i am a faithful amazon patron, but buying the album from itunes is better. the itunes album is a deluxe edition with 31 songs plus a digital booklet for only 14.99. a bargain. it has ever song performed in the movie, unlike this version. if you really enjoyed the movie and are looking for what i was, everything, check out itunes and spend 3 dollars more to get a whole lot more. either way the movie was fab.Free Music Review: A Phenomenal Movie and a Beautiful Soundtrack!!!

If you havent seen this movie yet, you are missing out on one of the greatest movies of this year! It has fun, drama, and the best soundtrack. This movie is fiercely realistic to what was going on at this period in the time. I love this soundtrack! The music is absolutely beautiful! The whole cast provides absolutely amazing vocals to these songs which were originally sung by the Beatles. If you have already seen the movie and want the soundtrack, wait to buy the deluxe edition which comes out october 23rd if you want all the songs from this amazing film!Free Music Review: THE BEST SOUNDTRACK EVER!

The minute i bumped into the movie's trailer i immediately got the Soundtrack! Let me just tell you that: from beginning to end my jaw was dropped and the hairs in the back of my neck and arms were so awake they hurt! This is BY FAR the best soundtrack I've ever owned, and, so that you know, i own a LOT of music... (just digital, i have over 100 GB)
buy the CD if you are willing to have a life changing experience! it is INCREDIBLE,
i'm counting the days for the movie to arrive.
Free Music Review: A worthy tribute to the Beatles

Okay. This is coming from one of this generation's biggest Beatles fans - I have long said that a cover can't do justice to a Beatles song (and there have been plenty of attempts), however I make a big exception for this album. You might not enjoy it as much without having watched the movie, but just take it all in. Go in with an open mind, and some of these renditions will give you goose bumps like the firs time you heard it by the Beatles. Seriously, it's beautiful. Don't be a hater.
