Free Music Review: Her first CD and its THIS good?

Chasing Pavements stopped me in my tracks many months ago. Now after doing my best to wear out my expensive imported CD, Adele is finally released in the US. I've bought it yet again to get the bonus disk, and it was well worth it. It turns out the live and unplugged bonus tracks show how truly talented she is.
On the studio CD, producer Mark Ronson put his magic touches on Cold Shoulder which not only will get her airplay, but lead to the inevitable Amy Winehouse comparisons. This hopefully will stop since she outshines Amy with her originality and incredible voice. As the world finally gets to listen to this CD, they will hear the most amazing talent that has emerged in decades.
Did Jeff Buckley and Eva Cassidy get together and have a child we are just finding out about?
If 19 is this good, I can't wait for the album "20" and "21" and.....

i downloaded this album a month and a half ago and haven't skipped a day not hearing it. this album is breathtaking (i haven't felt this way about an album since radiohead's "the bends"). her voice is beautiful and it holds "emotion". her rendition of dylan's "to make you feel my love" got me teary eyed the first time i heard it. she simply has the ability to sing each song as if it's a "real" story, allowing the listener to really feel what each song is about.
this album is worth every penny and although i want to keep adele a little secret (i have a thing about seeing my favorite performers in small venues, not stadiums - i was fortunate enough to do this with coldplay before their status went all crazy), but a talented gem like adele can't be kept a secret for too long.

I found Adele several months ago here on Amazon. I bought the CD, and honestly haven't stopped playing it since. It stays in my CD player at all times...REALLY..it's THAT GOOD!! Adele's voice is perfection... smooth, rich, elegant, powerful, smoky. Positively addicting. I haven't been this excited about an artist since I discovered James Morrison (and before that, David Gray). One of my top favorite CD's of ALL TIME!! It's THAT GOOD!! Every song on the entire CD is incredible...how often can you say that about any artist?!?!? Free Music Review: British Soul

I absolutely love this album. I do not often listen to the mainstream radio stations or music television, but I happened to catch a clip of "Hometown Glory" and it was beautiful so I did some searching and found this album. I'm glad I did.
I do not understand why everyone has to compare her to other people. I think she creates amazing music in her own right. Yes, she has a bit of the raspy retro sound as a few others who have recently hit the charts, but is that really a bad thing? How many rock bands have similarities? Country? Rap? I think it's great to have a broad variety of music that is actually worth listening to.
Let Adele be Adele.
