Free Music Review: Unfair Guys
Hit: 4 Stars

I'm sorry to all of the hardcore Adema fans that slag off this album but come on this is ace! so much better than their self-titled album that they released a few years ago. musically adema have moved on lightyears and now they actually play music that is in time with each other an in the same key. i highly recommend this album
best songs:
Rip The Heart Out Of Me 10/10
Co-Dependant 10/10
Stand Up 9/10

Free Music Review: Good Cd, recommended.
Hit: 4 Stars

Most people arent happy with this cd, but thats because they expected something different. What this cd is, is fun listening, theres no originality, or bold statements. This cd has fun lyrics, and is meant to be something you can relate to. The best songs on here are Promises and Blame Me, those 2 are back to back gold. Overall, give it a shot, this is their last cd, because the singer split with them late last year, which sucks but just give it a shot.

Free Music Review: Unstable
Hit: 1 Stars

Unstable is without a doubt the worst nu-metal album in history, defying all logic and sense. The strange part is that it comes from Adema, a band who didn't set any fires ablaze with their debut album but still managed to make a capable and respectable effort. There is no Giving In or Speculum here on Unstable though. Instead listeners are subjected to trash like Stand Up, which is easily the worst abuse song ever recorded. Other tracks like Codependent and Needles fail to even have sensible lyrics, revealing the complete lack of effort the band put into making the album. While some tracks like the title track and Betray do show a little promise, it's impossible to seperate them from the garbage surrounding them. Cliched riffs and lyrics dilute the cesspool further. In the end, Unstable is nothing more than a textbook example for other nu-metal bands about how not to make their album. As for Adema, perhaps they would be better suited to stabilize their future efforts.

Free Music Review: Doesn't hold up after repeated listening
Hit: 2 Stars

I bought this cd after hearing the single "Unstable" on the radio. I thought the song was interesting (even though it has been done countless times before by better artists) because it was about being in a bad "unstable" relationship, yet not being able to get out of it and, in a way, being hopelessly addicted to being in it. When I got the cd, I enjoyed it. It stayed in my car for a good two weeks. Then, I started really listening to it and found it boring and, in a word, cliched. And, the lyrics were downright silly sometimes. One song in particular had me rolling my eyes the more I listened to it. I don't have the cd in front of me but the lyric was something like "As I walk by the water watching my sad life" or something, I know that's not exactly right and I apologize for not getting it right, but it's just silly. I found it just the other week and decided to give it a go again. I skipped past 3/4 of the tracks. It doesn't have the lasting power of some better bands.

The lead singer's half brother, Jonathan Davis (lead singer of Korn) helped work on the album. I can appreciate Adema in trying to get away from being "Korn's half brother" and I can completely understand going in a totally different direction than them to help enforce that separation. I only wish Jonathan had been able to impart at least a portion of his intensity to Adema. Their first album, at least, was more exciting musically.

There's nothing new under the sun; anymore, what's interesting is how modern bands take the existing themes of loss, anger, hardship, love, obsession, etc. and present them to the public. I don't like the way Adema did it with this album. Instead of making a unique album, it became, ironically, a cliched cliche. Give me Korn's intensity, Chevelle's melodic sound, Metallica's unabashed rock ballads, or even Slipknot's desperate screams any day. They are all singing/screaming about the same things. It's their representation of the themes that interest me. Adema is just not my bag.

Free Music Review: Geeze this ROCKS
Hit: 5 Stars

Rocks so much harder than the first 2. They can only get better... I hope.
