Free Music Notes for Unstable (Bonus DVD)Free Music Review: pretty good, but not great Hit: 3 StarsAdema is worth a listen if you are into rock, but they don't really do a whole lot to make themselves different from the rest of the bands. and another thing is that they sound almost exactly like korn. i think the lead singer of adema is even related to korn's lead singer.
Free Music Review: ****~*~*~*ADEMA*~*~*~**** Hit: 5 StarsAdema is one of the best bands i've ever heard. I had other favorite bands before them. But once i listened to them for the first time i absolutly loved them. OTHER PEOPLE may think "oh there writing is bad, they suck, blah blah blah." If they actually take the time to really understand and appreciate it, it means more. There writing just reflects each individual in the band and what they have been through. Also some may say "there songs are about getting heart broken and that does'nt make them good artists". When actually their point is not to try to make people feel bad and like their music its just something that they express and acutally is a big topic that many people have problems with and can relate to. And if you really think about it ALMOST EVERY SINGLE SONG YOU LISTEN TO SPEAKS OF THE SAME EXACT ISSUES, drugs, love and so on and im sure people like those. I've also heard that limp bizkit has more mature music than them. i could not believe this. i like limp bizkit and i do have all their CDs but they dont really talk about real issues they sing about stupid stuff like "nookie" YEAH REAL MATURE!. It seems people like whatever is "IN". Adema may not be "in" or ever so popular but thats what i like about them. They are not going to change what they sing or how they play so everyone can like them. They play for their fans. If you like them okay cool, but if you dont you dont oh well. All i know is they are a great band and their REAL PEOPLE. they are not stuck up or all into themselves. they really care about what their fans think and are extremly appreciative for what their fans do for them. When i first saw them i thought "oh my god there going to be stuck up not sign autographs or anything" but i was wrong. after the show each member went straight outside without trying to hide and spent alot of time with their fans reguardless if they were tried or had to leave. I've meet them soo soo soo many times and went to every show with me and my boyfriend (who introduced me to their music). They are such intelligent guys when you speak to them. and soo soo sweet. They know my boyfriend from every show and put us on the vip list since we did'nt get tickets to the next days show. Thats something they did'nt have to do but did cuz they cared for a fan. Its not always about if music is "COOL" or not its what it means and does for the person who listens to it and how it makes them feel. But anyway they are great guys and a great band. People should appreciate anothers passion.
Free Music Review: Generally not bad Hit: 4 StarsThis cd was not bad, all in all. It sounds a lot more polished then the first, even though the first was a lot better of a cd. It basically just sounds good. Don't look for deep meaning in the lyrics. The one thing though, just skip "Stand Up". That song has by far the worst lyrics I have ever heard. Ever. They are disgustingly cliche. It's like Mark Chavez took the lyrics out of a book about domestic abuse geared towards 9 year olds. It's just bad. Otherwise, the cd sound good. Again, the first, self-titled, cd is better. Anybody who liked this should definitely check it out.
Fav. songs:
Rip the Heart Out of Me
So Fortunate
Do You Hear Me
Free Music Review: Adema rule Hit: 5 StarsOk, where to start. Adema are an amazing band. Some people may just think that they're tryin to follow in Korns footsteps, but they're not. As it shows in Ademas latest album "Unstable" They've changed. Both their previous albums, (Insomniacs Dream Ep and self titled album Adema), where good, and alot of the songs where quite heavy, which is great, but i think they're new album is just as good but in a different way. They've got softer songs on the album. e.g Promises, So fortunate. Although these songs aren't particuarley heavy, they are still really good. Promises in my opinion is one of the best songs on the album, and even if you don't like "So fortunate" you've got to appreciate what the songs about... Mark Chavez has an amazing voice and i think he uses it well on the album. I noticed one person that obviously can't spell said that Mark Chavez writes like a 2 year old, this isn't true, just because the lyrics are simple doesn't automatically make the song crap. Lyrics don't have to be complex in order for a song to be good E.g "Rip the heart out of me" and "Stressin out" aren't that complex, but they're great songs, they're quite heavy and have a kick ass tune.If you're a fan of Adema, or lookin for a new band to listen to, definately buy this album! xxx
Free Music Review: Not The Best Rock Album Hit: 2 StarsI'd have to agree with the one veiwer below. For an adult, he doesnt right that many mature songs. They are pretty childish. I have albums from Staind, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Korn, Trapt, Flaw, ect. and the albums I have are written from an adult perspective and you can hear that in there music but most of these songs are pretty basic. No suprise, no suspense. But I have to admit, some songs like "Co-Dependent" and "So Fortunate" are pretty catchy. Their best song on the album is probably "Unstable". But I think all-in-all the whole album is 40% good. I think they can do better. I'm out. Peace.
