Free Music Review: Too bad he writes like a -2 year old

I am very big in piracy on the internet...i downloaded this CD when it first came out and actually JUST now popped it in and started focusing on it. Ive always had a special spot for nu-metal because it can be catchy and fun at times. For the most part i have to agree with the people when they can say the music is pretty good but...he is such a bad writer. SUCH A BAD WRITER. He tries way to hard to be depressed, its not that hard of an album despite what people thought about the last album, that wasnt THAT hard either. Typical nu-metal. But the lyrics in the last album i think are worse...All i remember is that song that goes "spinny round spinny round im falling down" Maybe marilyn manson can get away with saying something like this but not adema. Its obvious since the writing were the biggest problem they tried to improve that and at some parts it looks like they do then he throws out something like this..."I'm tired, I'm so damn angry with you." Uhhhh...ok. I can just say im happy i downloaded this and not bought it. I wouldnt buy it but i'll spend 10 mins downloading it. I dont reccoment a buy unless your into the nu-metal scene. Ex. chevelle, adema, flaw...stuff like that.

This ain't too good, ain't too bad, it's so-so. The only song that surprised me is "Needles". It took me a while to believe it was Adema. All and all, other good songs are:Stand Up

the first four songs on this cd rock! they are totally some of the best hard rock songs out there! unfortunately, this album is very inconsistent. every song after the first four are mellow and not hard at all. they are not bad songs, if you like slow songs, but after the amazing first four, i was expecting more from the rest of the album. still, its a good effort and an OK album to have around*I have the unstable album without the bonus dvd. i cant spend that much money to watch videos to songs that i just listened to on the cd!

Adema has taken a giant step towards perfection with this album. As a fan from the beggning iv listend to them since they were on the club scene in LA and these guys are the real deal. Mark is a real song writter who took major tips from his bro JD. If you are a fan of this Nue Metal Genere then pick up this album. If your looking for just a great record then go out and consider yourself lucky that you get to hear such a great album in this day and age.Free Music Review: Big Step Forward

Adema took a giant leap forward musically and lyrically on this album in comparison to their self-titled debut. Every song on this album is obviously from ther hearts. Mark Chavez sings alot more on this album than their previous which means there are more slower acoustic type songs. I have seen Adema twice in concert and they put on a great show. These guys deserve to be bigger and get more credit than what they are getting right now. If you are a fan of pure modern rock than you should buy this CD.
