I encountered this Karl Jenkins' Project on TV program (ETV special, NHK, broadcasted in Japan). I long wondered who are playing this music? At last I've found them. I have three album from Adiemus. I strongly recommend you "The Journey" because this includes 'Beyond Century'(also theme music of TV program whose name is the same as the music title) and new version of 'Adiemus'.By the way, I have my own website. And Adiemus is the most Popular artist in it. I also recommend you Miriam Stockley's solo project "Miriam". (Both CD are heavy turners.) Together with the beautiful voice of Ms. Miriam Stockley and the amazing compositions and arrangements by Mr. Karl Jenkins, Adiemus can create a rising dance track or make you cry with bittersweet melodies. From their first hit "Adiemus" to the new track featured here, "Beyond The Century", this CD never fails to entertain. The best tracks from all three CDs are featured here, some in edited versions, combining for a full 19 tracks. One of the best tracks here is one that hasn't gotten a lot of attention: "Chorale VI + Cantus - Song Of Aeolus". This was from the grand "Adiemus 2: Cantata Mundi" CD, which is a more symphonic work than one made up of individual songs. However, "Chorale..." begins with the angelic strains of Miriam Stockley singing a melody based on the Sol-Fa vocal excercises and metamorphosizes into an uplifting, raw, tribal edged chorus of chants. Other tracks worth mentioning are the powerful "In Calum Fero", the soothing "Zarabanda", and bass-heavy "Rain Dance". Adeimus is the master of Harmonization. The choir harmonies are the most beatiful pieces of music I have ever heard. Their music takes you to another culture, another place, very enjoyable. If you like choir-harmony, Adeimus is the best.Free Music Review: pure enjoyment

i love this cd very much. i just got it last week and along with 'faire celts', it barely leaves my cd player. my two favorite songs are 'adiemus' and 'cantus - song of the trinity'. i've actually found that i like the first half of the cd more right now, but maybe that's just because i haven't listened to it that many times. i would highly recommend this - very soothing and beautiful.Free Music Review: The best...really!

It's one of the best CD's I have ever listen. The music is so peaceful and quiet that you can imagine you are in another place. It also gives you the possiblity to discover different sounds and culture.
