Free Music Review: Adina's Album Is What Janet's Should've Been!
Hit: 5 Stars

The Second Coming is everything that Damita Jo should've been. While Adina is more in your face than Janet is with sexuality, Adina is more honest and (while I love Ms. Janet) has actual singing talent!

Best tracks in my view are "Nasty Grind", "Outside", "Don't Wait Up," and "T-Shirt & Panties." For the baby makers of the world, this'll get you ready! And the cover....well, let's just say the men will enjoy it. Though not labeled, IT IS NOT FOR CHILDREN! AN ADULT PARTY ONLY HERE!

Free Music Review: An Independent Woman
Hit: 4 Stars

Adina who? Miss Howard no longer retains a big time record deal with a major label. She packed her bags and strutted over to an independent label and constructed "The Second Coming." While Adina is very extroverted with her sexuality, she still knows how to entice. Given this day and age, many r&b females don't have that immense gift, so they come off sounding contrived and over the top. This doesn't mean that Adina's album is a classic. While up-tempo grooves like "Outside" and "Don't Wait Up" showcase her versatility, Miss Howard SHINES on the slow jams "Nasty Grind" and "T-Shirt and Panties." They are beautiful tracks exuding strong sensuality and Adina's crisp ad warm vocals. As a side note: T-shirt and Panties and Crank Me Up are from her sophmore effort Welcome to Fantasy Island.

Unfortunately, the last portion of Adina's album does tend to wane. Many listeners will have a hard time skipping the tracks Nasty Grind and T-shirt and Panties- i'm not lying, they are amazing tracks. Adina should have followed the formula throughout the album, but of course doesn't.

Miss Howard will most likely never garner any red-hot fame as she did with her one and only hit "Freak Like Me" back in 95. Once again, that is unfortunate, because she posseses a raw and sexually unapologetic edge over many r&b divas in existence today. In reponse to a members inquiry about where to find the album- I recommend Media Play or Sam Goody.

(Independent releases tend to be hard to find and can run quite high in price.)

Free Music Review: Is This Actually Out?
Hit: 5 Stars

Do The CD Stores Actually Have This In Stock Becase I'd Love to Pick It Up!!!

Free Music Review: GOOD CD
Hit: 4 Stars

This CD is really good. I thought at the beginning that it was going to be bad because sometimes when artists take so long to release their second album, it usually bad. When actually, this is Adina's third album. The second album never got released in the U.S. Overall, I think she did a good job. She still has her voice. I'm just upset because she's not getting any promotion. The world needs to know that Adina is back.
