Something happened between Admiral Twin's "Mock Heroic" (2000) and "Creatures of Bread & Wine" (2003). Namely, they tanked and very nearly dropped off my radar. Thankfully, 2007's "The Center of the Universe" finds them at their most adventurous, harmonious and diverse. Pop, pop rock, power pop and one or two pop ballads. All three members are attributed with writing all 15 songs and the trade-off of lead vocals between them really makes for a great CD through and through. It's good to have them back. If you're a Hoodoo Gurus fan, you should really check out Admiral Twin. Blow Your Cool!
