The show itself is hardly a classic. In fact, were it not for the incomparable Judy Holliday, "Bells Are Ringing" would have chimned itself into obscurity during previews. Since times have changed since 1956, not everyone (especially those under 30) will get a kick out of the stinging "Drop That Name." "The Party's Over," however, is a classic like the show's star. Some of the other song's, aren't worth five cents. Holliday rules. "Bells" does not.
