This CD is such a masterpiece it escapes you from reality and sends you on a pleasurable journey into bliss. All the tracks are beautifully worded and the melodies cast you off into a hypnotic senualality. When I meet people that have this CD it automatically sparks conversation. GET IT! Having the misfortune to bow at a time when America was engrossed by the teen poop - neh pop - phenomenon. The commercial obscurity of this album is balanced by its underground popularity. The ballads are crisp and the uptempo groves leave you not wanting to come down. Adriana Evans trancends so many musical categories, a gateway drug of sorts to jazz and follow me here, un-oversynthesized music. I know, thats not a word, but neither is the drivel that made money when this did not could be considered music. Alas she fails, commercially, artistically she follows a crescendo of success, because ...teens who make the Backstreet Boys platinum sellers in one week are not evolved enough to see a real artist when they hear one. Bad management must also be blamed for not properly marketing Ms. Evans. Adriana should feel some solace in knowing that those same teens who passed on this effort will gravitate toward it after their graduations from Stanford when they remember the good ole' days and can't remember a single artist from that era they spent high and hooked on Britany.Free Music Review: Timeless

I bought this CD over 6 years ago and I'm still listening to it. A friend of mine asked to borrow a few jazz CD's and although she isn't quite jazz, I included this one anyway. He came back and told me how much he really liked "the girl's" CD. Adrianna has a voice thats smooth like mountain dew and seagram's seven (don't knock it till you tried it) "I'll be there" A classic. Although she was slept on by most people, those who enjoy this sound (Jazzyfatnastees,Jill,Amel,India) and own this CD know that they have a timeless and sensational piece of art in their collectionFree Music Review: A TRUE CLASSIC FOR THE AGES

THIS ALBUM IS TRULLY GREAT. SHE HAS SUCH WONDERFUL TALENT ITS A SHAME THAT SHE GOT SLEPT ON. EVERY SONG HITS THE SOUL ESPECIALLY THE BEAUTIFUL "I'LL BE THERE".

Realmente creo que fue todo un acierto descubrir el trabajo de Adriana Evans ya que la calidad musical de su album, asi como la calidad vocal hacen de éste album ser indispensable en la coleccion de un fanatico como yo del soul jazz R&B.. Espero que tengan la oportunidad de escucharlo. No se arrepentiran
