I recently purchased this CD and I love it! I first heard of Adriana Evans back in 97 when she first came out. A friend of mine made me a tape with a couple of songs off her album and I enjoyed listening to it. Adriana has such a beautiful voice. It is too bad that they didn't play any of her songs over the radio. This is actually my first time hearing her entire albumn. I cannot stop playing this albumn and I don't care that it came out in 97. It is hard for me to pick a favorite because I like all of them but if I had to pick, I'll pick "Say you Won't", "Seein is Believing", "In the Sun" and Swimming. Adriana has been out of the lime light for awhile however, she has a new albumn that is coming out. The name of the albumn is Nomadic and it's tight. Adriana's new albumn combines pure soul with some rock, brazilian jazz flava as well as carribian type of appeal. Adriana has truly grown as an artist. Please pick up her new CD as well as her first one. It is not like the first albumn but it is definitley a good albumn. Adriana is truly a musical talent and if you want to hear good quality music, get this CD. This is absolutly real music! You will not be disappointed!Free Music Review: One of the best cd's ever done

I love only the very fine soul and R & B music and I'm a hard judge when I hear something that take my attention. I always had dreamed to find a cds that make me back to the real sense of the black music. How I enjoy a deep rhodes keyboards, a good base of drum, a vibraphone, a waa waa guitar, a solid bass line and an incredible and amazing voice! I found all this with Anita Baker, Maxwell and now Adriana Evans. Adriana Evans is simply one the best artists that I've heard in my entire life and her work speak by itself. Adriana is one of them rare young R&B artists who actually try make real music, and this debut album is a sweet, jazzy set of love numbers that ride a sea of strong horns and nice vocals. All the cuts here are nice but the only way she loses marks is sometimes she coulda varied things up on some songs. That being said, theres a lot of promise here and there are no bad songs on this album. Theres a whole gang of cuts here that are going to stay in your head all day, my favourite has to be `Say You Wont Keep Me Waiting', what a beautiful song. And as I said earlier the use of horns here is awesome, the melodies are so sweet she really takes me back to Minnie Riperton. Adriana has obviously been off the scene for sometime and I hope she makes it back because she has some serious talent and the right attitude. Music needs kids like Adriana Evans.
