Free Music Review: Big Ones to Start Off With
Hit: 5 Stars

First off I must begin this review that this is a good collection to start off with if you do not yet own any previous Aerosmith albums. Admittedly there are other good songs that Aerosmith made that were recorded after this album (such as "don't want to miss a thing"). However as an earlier review posted stated this is a good place to start if you would like to hear some of their 80's and early 90's stuff at a budget price. Some of the songs that I really liked on this cd are "love in an elevator" (9 out of 10),"rag doll" (10 out of 10),"Janie's Got a Gun" (8 out of 10), "Crazy" (9 out of 10), and "Living on the Edge" (10 out of 10). There are various good songs on this cd but for me the songs I just listed are some of the reasons why I still have this cd after first buying this cd when I was stationed in Japan (and the last time I was in Japan was October 2003). There are other collections that now carry a wide variety of the classic Aerosmith hits but this is one of the cd's to get if you are ok with collecting more than one greatest hits collection. In my opinion this cd would be a good primer.

Free Music Review: Definately one of the big ones of the greatest hits albums
Hit: 5 Stars

This is one of the greatest, greatest hits albums. It doesn't however contain the stuff released in the 70's such as Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Dream On and Come Together. For those you'll need to buy the album entitled Aerosmith Best Of.

For their late 80's and early 90's hits though which were most of their biggest this is the album for you. Love in An Elevator is on here although if you like the Going Down introduction to the song you will have to buy the album Pump as it's not on here. Livin' On the Edge, Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Janie's Got a Gun and Rag Doll or all here and any one of them is worth buying this album for alone.

There's also a live version of Dude (Looks Like a Lady) from San Diego. It's a pretty good version. There's two songs you won't find elsewhere Walk on Water and Blind Man. Neither are classics but are pretty good. There's really no fillers on here even there less known hits are still great. All the lyrics are also included so if you not really an Aerosmith fan but like some of their songs then this is the album for you.

Free Music Review: Aerosmith just keep getting better and better!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is their third greatest hits album and probably their best yet. This was one of my first aerosmith albums that i got and this album established how much i love this band. Each and every song is great. There is not one that is boring or terrible. Each one rocks you hard till you're just tired and weary when it reaches the end.

All the songs here are from most of their hit singles released from the albums, Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip. Besides that, Aerosmith include three new songs in here, 'Walk on Water', 'Deuces are Wild', and 'Blind Man'. All three are great songs too. All the songs are nicely laid out. Some of the songs are just so good that you can't even wait till you reach the next song to listen to it.

Words just cannot describe how good all the songs are on this album of what the Modern Aersomith is like. They're just simply great. If you enjoy this album, i suggest purchasing Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip. If you wanna listen to Classic Aerosmith, try 'Greatist Hits' or 'Gems'. Both have great songs.

Free Music Review: Big Ones Lives Up To Its Name
Hit: 5 Stars

Aerosmith's Big Ones like "The Immaculate Collection"(Madonna) is one of those hits albums that is a must have, every 80's and early 90's songs is on here, from "Angel" and "Rag Doll" to "What It Takes"(this is my favorite) to "The Other Side"(another favorite) from "Permenant Vacation" and "Pump", then "Cryin'" and "Amazing"(both of these songs are gems) on "Get A Grip"(a very good Aerosmith album), the songs good from 1986-1994 straight though and that is how a hits album should be with new or unreleased songs mixed in. "Walk On Water" new on this CD, is a good song very ignored at radio, the two songs that this CD could do without is "Deuces Are Wild" and "Blind Man"(probably my least favorite of Aerosmith), it just goes to show you that as long as you bring out great music like Aerosmith, Madonna, and Bon Jovi, you can go on creating more and more hits after you have releases execellent hits' albums.

Free Music Review: Best Of The Geffen Years!
Hit: 5 Stars

Big Ones is just the best of Aerosmith during there Geffen Years, but with three new songs. "Walk On Water" "Blind Man" and "Dueces Wild" were three new songs recorded for this collection, and all three of them are good, 'Dueces Wild' went on to be a big hit, the other two didnt do as well. Big Ones has all the big hits from Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get A Grip which were Aerosmiths three biggest selling albums of all time, and for good reason they are the most commecial Aerosmith ever got, but even Aerosmith tring to be commercial is good. I like this because it is the only Aerosmith collection to not suck, it doesnt really leave anything off, but I wish they would have put 'Monkey On My Back' on here but then again it really wasnt a big hit, but it still kicks ass. This has it all 'Angel' 'Love In An Elevator' and 'Eat The Rich' you cant got wrong with this, so pick it up. Though you really should get the albums to because as we all know greatest hits are evil!
