In the music industry, not to many bands are as deserving of as much praise as Aerosmith. Oh, Yeah! their new greatest hits album, is a fine double disc tribute to one of America's greatest, standing alongside Bruce Springsteen and Nirvana. This CD really was a wise move by Aerosmith, especially after the release of the questionable 'Just Push Play' that didn't really sound like Aerosmith at all. Oh, Yeah! put them back in the spotlight, a place where they truly deserve to be.
When you play this CD, you really do get a grin on your face listening to all their hits. 'Sweet Emotion', 'Dream On', 'Walk This Way', they're all there, and you can't help but sing along. Aerosmith is a fine band, and this greatest hits CD was very well put together.
And Aerosmith deserves that much.
Free Music Review: Best compilation for the passing fan

For the passing Aerosmith fan, there was a state of confusion - 9 studio and live compilations of their material, 6 from the Columbia years (1973-1982, 1997-present) and 3 from the Geffen years (1985-1994), for a band that has only 13 original studio records! On the plus side, this new compilation represents a joint effort by both companies to put together the very, very best of Aerosmith on two discs. Although any hardcore Aerosmith fan would take issue with three or four choices, for the most part, this is the single best compilation for a passing fan.For the hardcore Aerosmith fan like me, there is just enough to warrant a purchase - 2 new tracks and 3 remixes. Still, I am disappointed by cheap marketing ploy of putting out multiple designs of the CD.

For the casual Aerosmith fan (which I consider myself), this is a near perfect career-spanning collection. All the hits from 1975's "Sweet Emotion" through last year's "Jaded" are included. [The only missing Top 40 hit was their contribution to the soundtrack of the 1978 movie debacle "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" ("Come Together"), and frankly I don't miss its absence here.] For the first time you get all the classic Columbia and Geffen hits on one disc, essentially making 1980's "Greatest Hits" and 1994's "Big Ones" obsolete. This is an essential purchase for any rock 'n' roll music fan. Your only real decision is to decide which 3-D cover to choose from. This is the best greatest hit collection ever released by any band, but this is the greatest band in rock'n roll. This Cd covers their entire career. From the early days with columbia records to the geffin years. This album also includes 2 BRAND NEW tracks, "Girls of Summer" and "Lay it Down" both of which are excellent. Lay it Down is the best vocal work to come from Steven Tyler since "You see me Cryin'". Gotta love it..Aerosmith is a band that has stood the test of time and continues to rock just as hard as they did in 1972. They are a great live act and wonderful to listen to anytime. I have always been a huge fan of Aerosmith's music. I enjoy many of their song's but like many other artists, those songs tend to be found on so many different CDs. I am a bit of a thrifty girl and was completely thrilled to find all of my favorite Aerosmith tunes compiled in these two CDs.Theses two CDs span the entire career of Aerosmith up til today. This is a rare and "Amazing" find. They have got everything... from "Rag Doll" to the beautiful power ballad "Angel". There is a little "Cryin" and even a "Dude Looks Like a Lady"!! These are just a few of the songs. You should listen to samples when checking out this product. This is one of those RoadTrip albums. You get in the car, load the CDs and "Just Push Play"!!
