This album is like a sneak preview from what cuba has in store for the world today. Whan I listen to this cd I'm on La Isla Grande. My mind doesn't allow me to stay in Holland. It's no use fighting The Emperors of Son show their face. And behold give in to the Son, it's calling your name to come and dance. Not "A toda cuba le gusta" but A toda del mundo !! Hmm.. too flashy? What do you expect when you take a dozen of the best musicians in Cuba, complete with well over a half a century of experience? The music is far from the laid back impromptu style most of these artists are originally known for, but injecting such precision and talent into the roots of their music can only produce something worth buying and listening to over and over. 5 stars!Free Music Review: Taking all newcomers to school

This album shows the world why Cuba can claim to be the birth place of more music styles than any other country. These guys take all new Salsa performers to school. The musicianship of all in this recording whether young or old is top notch. Pio Mentiroso is Cuban dance music at it's best. Guajiro Mirabal and Miguel Anga are on top of the game here. This CD is lively, upbeat, and rockin'! A must have if you enjoy Cuban music. As one who has vistied Cuba, this CD takes me back to hanging out in dive bars, searching for great music, big bands, lively older musicians, and dancing in every available space in the club. Another Buena Vista Social Club Masterpiece.... fantastic! I'm running home to light up a Monte Cristo!

If your into salsa or any of that type of music you will really enjoy this CD. When I first put into my player I was so surprised at what I heard, I think I even said to myself what a plesant surprise to me ears. Very dancable music, and the lyrics are a plus. I also took it to work and several of my co-workers also commented on the music. One of my favorite CD's.
