If you like the old fashioned "son" sound, you will love this album. This album is reminiscent of the old cuba of the 1950's (but with better sound quality of course). A modern comparison would be Sierra Maestra or Jesus Allemany (Cubanismo fame)Free Music Review: SMOKIN'!!!

Okay this was the 2nd release from the Buena Vista Social Club group of recordings and musicians. Buena Vista is beautiful and covers many bases but if you wanted to party on a Saturday night THIS is the record. IT Music Review: The Best Latin CD I have ever listened toHit: 5 Stars I was doubtful to buy a latin CD in general, but i read the reviews of other listeners and I agree, this is the ONE OF THE BEST CDS EVER. Its smooth and relaxing, while picking you up to a flowing latin beat. Its well worth it.

How much fun this one is. I'm normally not a big horn fan--the brass on most, if not all, of this list is razor sharp. I also liked the guitar work--definitely unexpected, but a pleasant surprise.
