I took this out after quite a few years and, to my surprise, this CD still made my mind movie. From Laura's theme and Laura playing the piano to the primse track and the endings (depending on the cd, you get different endings. I advise looking over what your CD includes because a few of the companies that own rights put all the ending tracks on the disc and not just the most likely), you find yourself recalling the quest you undertook and the epic way that 2 played out when you went through it.

Personally, I rate SH2 as one of the creepiest games i have ever played in my life. The soundtrack is one of the things that build that puzzle, and I have to say that it makes me cringe in some of the audio/haunted areas. In other areas there are some quite beautiful things, however, and these things also stick with me. When i mentioned the piano, for example, i was throwing out something filled with beauty. I also consider promise(repsie) to be one of the most beautiful pieces of sound I have ever heard and this dual working of good and ill really make one feel what is going on.
Truly, I have to say I love this album.

If you are a fan of the series, you should buy this because you will love it. If you ar enot a fan, youmight love it anyhow because it goes through and tells a story and makes the mind follow. I personally love that feeling, that haunted thing, leading me back to Silent Hill.
Its like i never left at all.
