Watching them perform Summer Breeze on Jimmy Kimmel convinced me to get this album. Pretty amazing with all the people on this album as well, I really like Bring it on Home with Paul McCartney.
Two days after buying the regular version I found the surround sound version at monster music. It's a 2 disc set with a dvd disc so you can hear it on your home system. Breezin' and God Bless the Child are mind boggling in surround!
If anyone knows about the Tony Bennett version in surround, please let me know.

I am a long time Al Jarreau fan and bought this on a whim. What a great CD - I can't stop listening to it! From the two trading off on their hits Breezin' and Mornin', to Jill Scott's exquisite rendition of God Bless the Child, to Paul McCartney's guest appearance on Bring it on Home to Me, and all the tracks in between, you won't be disappointed. Trying to pick a favorite song on this CD is like saying, "What's your favorite sunset?" They all touch me in a different way. Put this on and enjoy . . .Free Music Review: Way To Go ! A work in decades.

I would say this is one of the best CD's you can possibly expect especially in the recent decades of lousy music by "high school" bands with snobbish attitude. It certainly reminds me of what the creative spirit can make a difference. Besides performance and music arrangement, their selection of music compositions is superb and entertaining. Although being recorded in the stereo format, it sounds great through my seven channel surround system. Thank you George and Al for a great work. and this proves it. While not being an Al Jarreau fan, this CD has made me hear him in a new light. They have both collaborated and delivered an awesome treat. My only question is why did it take them so long? The chemistry, the arrangements, the quality and the duets with Jill Scott and Patti Austin are worth the price of admission.
