My brother asked if I was going to get Al's new CD, and I said,"of course, Al never makes a bad CD." Well Al, you've done it again !!! I played this over and over today while I repainted the baseboards, did general cleaning, and cut up my collards for Sunday dinner. "Oasis" is definitely my favorite !!! This is one of Al's best. Of all the songs, "Jacaranda Bougainvillea" and "All I Got" are my favorites and they are written and performed by his touring band. Freddie Ravel and Jota Morelli and Chris (bass player) are just fantastic. The story behind how Al wrote "Jacaranda" is fascinating and is on his website, aljarreau.com.A definite MUST BUY!

I received this CD early this morning for my 30th Birthday. I have to love the persons that gave me, it is indeeed five star. I am more into the classical genre. This is like an introduction to jazz and I love it, it is smooth, classy and intimate. Al Jarreau's voice is like silk, I am hooked. Al Jarreau never disappoints. The man is totally awesome. I just love his music. When I buy CD's I usually wait to hear a few tracks on the air first before I buy. With him, I immediately buy his music. I know I'll love it, just because it's him. Another fine project once again. Get this CD you'll see what I mean.
