I must admit that I disliked musicals a great deal until my best friend sat me down and made me listen to Miss Saigon, which suddenly made me a convert. I don't think I have ever had as many chills run down my back (until I listened to Les Mis) as when I heard Movie in my Mind, I Still Believe, and the First Finale. Wow. The whole cd is wonderful and Lea Salonga captures the character's feelings perfectly, and the score is just amazing!! This is a must have, especially if you are new to musicals!
