Free Music Review: Songs of lovin and leavin, lying and cheatin
Hit: 5 Stars

This cd is nothing less than beautiful! All 17 tracks breaths new life into the meaning of country music. Songs of lovin and leavin, lying and cheatin, is what alan does best. He doesnt try to conform to what country music is becoming, but he stays true to the kind of music he has always loved. Alan Jackson never ceases to amaze me with his beautiful singing or talented writing skills. Not too many artists can say that they've written EVERY song on the entire album, then then again, alan jackson is not just any artist. He is one of the true country acts still around today. I know you will play this album again and again until you have to go out and buy another one, which in that case, its a guarantee that you will have a GOOD TIME all over again. If you are a true country music fan, this album is a must have for your collection. If you want to know just want alan jackson is all about, listen to this cd and i promise you wont be disappointed.

Free Music Review: A Must Have
Hit: 5 Stars

Being a big fan of Alan Jackson, this one is just wonderful, I have all of his CD's but to me this one was so very special and showed me a man that is very humble and cares for many people, natually I enjoyed all the songs but my favorite with this was if course "Sissy's Song", how amazing how his talent can be produce so fast, just as 9/11 he said he could not go to sleep that night and wrote that wonderful song "Where were you when the World stopped Turning", I think at that time what a song that will continue for many years of such as tragic such as this really nice person that they knew so well and how it hurt him for her sudden passing but wrote a song in her honor, Alan, this song must have touched her family along with your's, so talented but I will say this CD is a must. Filled with love and laughter I do highly recommend this, a very talented person.

Free Music Review: Whew, finally back to good ole Alan and his Country Roots!
Hit: 5 Stars

I just picked up Alan's latest album today. As the subject states, we are finally back to some good ole country songs! I was pretty disappointed with his last album to say the least, but the reviews he received were still pretty decent considering the "alternate" singing style he was trying to replicate. I have been a big big fan since the early 90's and I just feel if you have a fan base that expects to hear that cheatin/lyin/leavin/dyin stuff, don't stray from it! Anyway, enough about that...a little about the new album. There are a handful of songs that really get back to the old country that I have been dearly missing for the past couple of years. Songs 2,4,10,14,16,17 really get back to what Alan's country songs should be about steel guitar's and fiddle's along with Alan's ability to make things in life seem simple but meaningful!

Free Music Review: VERY CATCHY CD BY ALAN
Hit: 5 Stars

This one took a little while to grow on me. However, it has and I can't keep it out of my Cd Rom. My favorite is the cut with Martina McBride. "I Wish I Could Back Up is also up there as a favorite. The "Small Time Southern Man" is classic Alan Jackson. Kind of reminds me of "Little Man." "This Time" really makes one think about life and what really matters.

I think the only song I don't care for is the last cut. "If Jesus Walked The World Today." I think this song is a little sacreligious. After having put out "Precious Memories," I have to say I'm disappointed that Alan would produce such a off color song such as this. Other than that one, a definite 5 star album. This album and "What I Do" are probably my favorite albums by Alan Jackson. I definitely recommend it.

Free Music Review: Great Time
Hit: 5 Stars

If Alan Jackson ever "left us", well he's certainly back. This is a great cd. Picked it up the first day it came out. I saw there was 17 songs, which is huge these days, and never previewed it before hand (except for his single Small Town Southern Man) and it is just a great cd. True country music at its' finest! I hope he a George Strait never leave us. Great sing-along songs in "Country Boy" and the title truck "Good Time", a little bluegrass in "Long, Long Way", comedy in "I Still Like Bologna" and a tear jerker in "Sissy's Song" with all kinds of other greats. If you like Alan Jackson, just go out and buy this immediately. Trust me.
