Free Music Notes for Little Shop Of Horrors (1986 Film)Free Music Review: A triumph. Simply wonderful. Hit: 5 Stars
My parents and I love to watch this film together, but I can't watcha musical without singing along! This is by far my favorite modern musical. The best track "Downtown (Skid Row)" not to be confused with Petula Clark's version, this one is far catchier and very much the feeling of coming home to a less than posh neighborhood after a long day. "Suddenly Semour" comes in second with stunning vocals from both lead characters and the theme is cute and catchy. I'm so happy to see the actual soundtrack is still available, I'm going to pick one up right now. (Hey, check out the movie, too. It's great!)
Free Music Review: Favorite soundtrack of all time Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this when I was 15 or 16, and I still listen to it today. I love every song on the album, Rick Moranis CAN sing, and the audio sounds great. Being a fan of the movie and stage musical, I also had the original cast, and the new broadway cast on CD. But this one is my favorite, and I recommend this one before you buy the others, I think all the versions of the songs here are the best of all of the LSOH albums. Amazon needs to mp3 this!
The opening song (Little Shop of Horrors) and Skid Row Downtown are phenomenal. Listen to the sound samples, you will not be disapointed!
Free Music Review: HOLA! Hit: 5 Stars
Wow, me again (if you didn't see my other review for the other CD then HI!)! Back to the CD... :) I think this CD is the best, although it's missing at least 5 songs <GASP!>, which I have been looking for all over and cannot find :( (Now It's Just the Gas, Mushnik & Son, and Closed for Renovations, just to name a few....) But, anyway this CD is helarious! (Don't scream, please, I know this is spelt wrong :) Mean Green Mother is THE BEST song (on this CD)! I love this song:) All I have to say is this: If you don't own this CD then BUY IT! <PLEASE! It's for your own good!>
Free Music Review: Horror in Motown Style Hit: 5 Stars
The movie was great, but the soundtrack is awesome. Hear some of your favorite songs from Little Shop of Horrors and sing along. My personal favorite is "Suddenly Seymore" where big comedian Rick Moranis shows off that he's not just a comedian, but he's also a big-time singer. Other hits such as "Mean Green Mother" and "Skid Row" also add spice to the whole CD. With a motown sound, the CD gives listeners a wide variety of examples of this music era at the same time express the feelings of the characters of the musical...
Free Music Review: Dam good music Hit: 5 Stars
I own this album. It has all the songs from the musical remake one it. The final song is don't feed the plants from the play. Why they put it on when it wasn't in the movie I don't know. I love listening the songs unabriged. Yes one of the songs was abriged. The final song off the movie song by audrey II and his buds was abriged for the 1986 movie they full song is twice as long as it was in the movie. At 4.5 minutes its the longest song one the whole album I recommend you get this.
