Like other reviewers, I have been anticipating this album's release for about 2 years since hearing one of Algebra's tracks on the Music Choice channel but it was definitely worth the wait! This is an excellent debut from a strong singer/songwriter who has produced an entire project that is right on par with other great neo-soul debuts from Jill Scott & Erykah Badu.
Although it is relatively short the stellar songwriting & production make each track individual treats while maintaining a certain cohesion as a whole. I was going to do my usual list of standout tracks but given how much I am enjoying listening to each track, I just couldn't pick.
Hopefully in this new age of music, Algebra's MY SPACE page and good word of mouth will help create a "buzz" loud enough about this talented young lady to get more people to pay attention and give this disc a chance!

This may be one of the most slept on artist outside of when Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild first came out. But I anticipate that once people catch on, they will be pleasantly pleased!!! Algebra is not YET getting all the props she deserves for her talent, but soon, she will be recognized. The tracks are HITS, her voice is amazing and her music is so real! I'm a bit sad that her song "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" didn't make it to the album but the tracks that did..... Hands down--great choices. Can't stop playing the album. Even got my 4year old talking about "turn that up mommy" when "Tug OF War" comes on. She is what this industry needs right now!
