I went to see Alice (for about the sixth time) in Southampton, UK at the end of July. Although the concert, or more aptly - show, was an amalgamation of most of his 70's and 80's songs, he proved that at 60, he can still entertain as well as, if not better, than his shows from the 70's...He's way ahead of the likes of Ozzy Osbourne.
I would be interested to hear from our american cousins what the tour of the album will be like, so we know hat to expect in the UK.

I personally liked dirty diamonds and the eyes of Alice Cooper better than Spider. However, being since Alice is Alice, there will come a time when I will pick this cd out to listen to because it's one story line about (Steven), whatever the mood I'm in, there is always an Alice cd for me. I especially like the song salvation, he is a preachers son, and a lot of his songs are inspirational at a certain level without the preaching. Alice rocks and so does this cd.Free Music Review: Not the best Alice, but good.

This albums is an odd one, no really awesome tracks, but none are close to being bad either. I think this album would have been a little better if the guitarwork had a little more life to it. At times the guitars are too uninspred and simple... The songs are still really good though, mostly brought up by Alice's vocals and the lyrics. The packaging of this album is awesome, with each page giving a visual representation of what the song is about.Free Music Review: Alice!?

Big Alice Cooper fan since 1972. Have collected every album since PRETTIES FOR YOU. Always excited for new Alice. Very glad I bought it and would replace this cd without hesitation, however, this has taken a little bit to grow on me. (this is a first) It is good. I love watching him live and I would love to see this show as well. Very happy to hear Eric Singer again. FYI I am just turning 56 years old. On this last album from a couple of years back Alice returned to the full on creepy shlock horror visuals and lyrics we know him for. It is a fun, wild horror ride, base on the story of a serial killer called the Spider, who kills and slays then finds redemption finally through the album's big, riffin' stormin rock tunes. A very good return showing Alice still can put out fine rock albums.
